Excellent doctor. Keeps trying to find my problem, doesnt give up.

I have to say I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to my doctors. I wasn't sure what to expect with Dr. Alsaffar. I was referred to him for an ENT check up after having trouble swallowing. I was quite nervous that I may have cancer. I was first seen by an assistant doctor who was very knowledgeable, asked the right questions and did a preliminary check. After she left Dr. Alsaffar came in and took the time to explain everything to me. They ended up doing a scope to ensure nothing nefarious was going on. Dr. Alsaffar knew about my nervousness about potentially having cancer. This may not mean much to people but as the scope exam was ending, he patted me on the arm and said "everything is clear". That showed me his compassion. He was on time and took all the time to explain things to me. He even gave me his business card at the end of the visit and told me to reach out to his office if I ever have any questions or concerns. This doctor is bang on. And also his staff. I HIGHLY recommend him

Dr. Alsaffar is amazing. He has great bedside manner. He takes the time to listen to concerns and fears (no matter how ridiculous they may be), and does not make you feel rushed or silly. He maintains eye contact and makes sure that you are done expressing your concerns before he speaks. Cannot say enough good things about him, and I am thankful that he accepted my referral so quickly.

Such a kind a funny guy, and extremely accommodating, as are his staff. I had tongue cancer a a very young age and he was wonderful and always saw me when I was worried about anything. Can't say enough good things about him.

Dr. Alsaffar is very knowledgeable, kind and will take time to explain what is happening and what is needed. We need more Drs like him!

very efficient doctor, asks a lot of questions to try and solve your problems and really listens to you when speaking. does not try to diminish you or make you feel small, very very happy with him.

I really liked Dr. Alsaffar, however he gave me a prescription and said he wanted a follow-up but now I am unable to get that follow-up. Not sure if it is him or his staff but I am now on a prescription (for what he thought "might" be the problem) with no results, no follow-up available to me and no word form him on how to discontinue this prescription. Don't know what to do when the refills run out but I will speak with my family doctor about this and see if I should maybe follow-up with the review board. I do not believe he is the problem but I feel his staff is making his decisions on whether or not to allow me a follow up appt. Like I said I really liked him but not his follow-up procedures (which he requested).

I had thyroid surgery 2 times and this doctor was great. I would recommend him to anyone. +++++
