Dr Di Silvestro replaced my hip about 6 months ago. I couldn't have asked for a more skilled and compassionate surgeon. Thanks to him I can walk again without pain. My quality of life is 100 percent better. Thanks Dr. D!

he did foot surgery- on the day of surgery he was apparently trying to beat hospital record of most feet in one day- blew my surgery- toe was not done properly - reattached crooked- 100% worse then before- when he took pin out and was clearly out of line and massive at joint- asked what was up with the toe- he scoffed and said oh that will be fine in a few more weeks- it was not - it is not- now must be redone but who has another 6 months to go with driving? I get it doing hundreds of feet must get a little boring after the first thousand---but for us they are the only feet we have and should never be fodder for some in house competition

My GP sent a requisition for surgery at the beginning of 2020. With Covid, etc... I've been waiting over 3 years for this surgery. I just tried to call the office to get an update, the message says that patient voice mails regarding surgery schedules won't be returned. You can't even reach the office for an update? This is the worst patient relations I've ever experienced - and I haven't even had the surgery yet.

Recently saw dr again in November 2022 to operate on my other foot. I was very late due to going to the wrong address and my phone went dead to even call them. He still seen me and paperwork was signed. Surgery is Jan 6. He has a great sense of humour, laid back and an amazing surgeon. His staff are awesome too. My other foot was operated by him 2019 with no issues to date. Can barely even see the scar. Highly recommended

I just had hip replacement surgery done by Dr. Di Silvestro on April 25/22. He did an excellent job - I went from severe pain and walking with crutches to walking normally without pain. His professionalism and knowledge are excellent and everything went exceptionally well. The Queensway Carleton Hospital staff were very competent and empathetic and I received excellent care. If I was rating Dr D. on a scale of 1-10 he would be a 12!

Dr Di Silvertro emphasis on my weight, denying diabetes and inappropriate questions about my financial picture left me wondering about my foot. That’s what I was there for. Not surprised he suggested a second opinion.

I might be his number 5344, he is my number one. Three months after a knee replacement i was CX skiing 5km at Shirley's Bay, have full use of my left knee (and hip, which was done 8 months earlier) One important point: do the recommended exercises and then some!
