Dr Moreau has been my attending doctor for both total knee replacements. I can't state enough how professional and compassionate he has been through both of my surgeries.
The most recent knee replacement surgery has a few bumps in the road. Dr Moreau has shown to be truly concerned about well being and genuinely keen to find the cause and cure. Dr Guy Moreau and all the Staff at the Montfort hospital were so caring before and after surgery they were a testament to the medical profession in Ottawa.

My visit today with Dr. Moreau was a shear delight. He saw me on time, reassured me of what to expect & was a perfect gentleman. The fact that he didn't rush through my appointment was very important & made me feel comfortable with the final outcome. Doctors like him are rare. I'd recommend him as one of the top notch orthopedic surgeons in the Ottawa Valley.

Dr. Moreau has been my surgeon for 2 total knee replacements. He is an excellent communicator, welcomes and answers questions, listens actively, and instills confidence. He is very approachable. His staff are also excellent. Count yourself exceptionally lucky if Dr. Moreau is your surgeon.

Is the most highly skilled, attentive and caring surgeon you’ will ever meet. He has now replaced both my hips with excellent results. The right hip at age 60 and the left at age 63. Im a Personal Trainer, working out 5 days a week. This is my passion to stay strong and healthy into my 80’s! Due to the severe pain and muscle imbalances I was losing a lot of stability , mobility, strength and muscle and could barely get in and out of my car, or reach down to put my shoes on. I’m so grateful for the exceptional pre- and post-op care I received during my recent and previous “Anterior approach Hip Replacements”. Left THR Surgery was April 14th, 2022 which was a scheduled Day Surgery, (thanks to Covid). I arrived at Montfort @ 7:30 am, surgery @ 9:30 and I was home by 7.30pm! Day 1 post-op I had 1/10 pain and minimal swelling at all. By Day 6 post-op I ditched the walker and used the cane. By Day 9 I was forgetting to use my cane. I was extremely stable and mobile and was back to my happy, healthy self while still following Drs orders. Do your pre- and post-op exercises! Do not wait if you’re in pain. My quality of life has already improved 100% and it’s only 10 days post-op. You are in the best hands. THANK YOU DR. Guy Moreau and your surgical team at the Montfort Hospital.
