Had my total knee replacement Feb.10 by Dr. Moreau did an excellent job making sure I am comfortable prior to surgery and after surgery. Thanks for a job well done

Dr Moreau m'a opéré à la hanche gauche selon l'approche antérieure. L'opération fut un vrai succès et là, ça été mon plus beau cadeau de Noël. J'ai grandement apprécié son expertise médicale, son professionnalisme et son humanisme. Dr. Moreau est venu me visiter au moins 3 fois lors de mon séjour d’une journée à l’hôpital. Son équipe médicale est également très professionnelle. Merci mille fois Dr. Moreau.

I just had surgery and after one week I am much better. The wounds are healing well. The doctor guy Moreau explained procedure and process to recovery. After surgery he came by to check on his patient. In addition I am very happy with quality of care I receive from Montfort hospital. There is no other hospital like it in Ottawa. Merci beaucoup pour tous.

Let me add my voice to the chorus of praise for Dr. Moreau. In my experience he is a skilled surgeon and a warm human being. The day after he replaced my hip, I walked 500 m, the next day 1 km. More important - I was no longer in pain. I had put this surgery off for too many years. Fear I guess. My life quickly returned to normal - better than normal - and the surgery is a distant memory. Lucky I have a scar to remind me. :-) My only regret was that I did not do this sooner. Thank you Dr. Moreau. Thank you very much.

Dr Moreau was more than helpful easing pain of my fractured ankle, despite the overloaded clinic at hospital he answered all my questions listening carefully to me, providing helpful info and care too; always with a smiley face; it's worth to mention all staff and volunteers at Montfort were excellent, especially the ladies at ER, Dr Moreau clinic and Main reception I'd rate them all not 5 but 500 stars! Merci beaucoup pour l'enviro francophone chaleureux partout aussi... * * * * *

I had bilateral (dual) hip replacement by Dr. Moreau in one operation in October 2019. He uses the more technically difficult anterior incision in which no muscles are cut - they are just moved aside. This is very beneficial to the patient - less post-op movement restriction and faster recovery. Despite the demands on his time as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Montfort Hospital, he was very patient with my many questions. Also, the staff and volunteers at Montfort were excellent, the pre- and post-op service was superb, and the wait time for my operation was only 8 months for one of the best hip surgeons in the city despite my being warned that the wait could be 1 year or more.

I have had 2 knee replacements done by Dr. Moreau. The first was Oct. 2018 and the second was Mar. 2019. He is wonderful! He is kind, patient, caring and an excellent skilled surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. My hip in bothering me and I won't hesitate to request Dr. Moreau again for that surgery when it is time.
