I had a none cancerous lump in a very bad, high risk spot that was causing me great pain. Dr. Werier put me at ease that he would take it out. Dr. Werier efficiently and safely removed the lump and did not damage any nerves in my arm. I am forever grateful for his skill and overall great disposition from start to finish.

really liked this Doctor, he replied to my questions when i saw him, gave me informations that was relevant, tried to give me and idea of my recovery altho no predictions are always 100% accurate i mean everybody heals differently but ive had nothing but good thing to say about him and my surgery. Ive recently had a follow up and he was willing to explore my current issue. So i feel lucky to have been looked after so well some other Doctors wouldnt have bother checking and would kept giving me pain killers which wouldnt have helped me when a surgery was the only way to fix my issue. Highly recommanded! excellent services.

He is and excellent doctor. We are lucky to have him here. My surgery was removing a tumor on my neck close tot the spinal nerves. Two doctors refused to do the surgery. The oncology unit was so well organized working like a Swiss clock that I could wish for better. He and his staff are very nice people. Sincere thanks to this professional and my recovery was a breeze. Peter

His nurses in PAC and recovery are fantastic. Ann and Dianna are very down to earth and very competent along with a great sense of humor. Also, the young man in recovery who worked the evening shift on Tuesday June 11/18 he ( sorry I forgot your name) is efficient and on the ball with such a pleasant personality. You have a great team Dr. Werier !
The Anaestiologists Dr. Gordon and Dr. McCartney were the best! They made me feel so at ease and informed I am very impressed with their bedside manner and professionalism. The nurse Lily ( ithink) from the Civic was very good ( you should try and get her to work at the General permanently. As far as your go Dr. Werier, I am so glad that I was referred to you and that you have this amazing talent . I am blessed to have been and still am under your care. For a year, I was told nothing was wrong. Until an MRI confirmed, I had a rare type of tumor. I was referred to Dr. Werier and couldn't be happier. He took control of my care and was confident in our plan of attack. His confidence was key in my positive approach. I've had 4 tumours, countless surgeries and I'm now 5 years with no recurrence.
I've been discharged from his care but I couldn't be more thankful of his expertise and commitment to my care.
Sure, his clinics run late but that's because he cares and wants to make sure everyone gets the attention they deserve. Bring a book and be thankful that we have such a committed surgeon, researcher and individual in our community.

I had great visits with Dr. Werier. At the first appointment it was a bit long but I had to go for X-Rays and met with one of his staff members which to me is very normal. I had my surgery appointment date before I got home. The surgery was on time and all went well. Met with Dr. Werier less than three weeks after surgery which is very decent and the necessary follow up have all been planed already. Thank you Dr. Werier and to your great team.
