Dr. Geoffrey Dervin is the best Orthopedic surgeon for knee replacements. He performed a TKR (L) 5 years ago with excellent results. Able to do yoga without difficulty. Two weeks ago Dr. Dervin performed a TKR (R) knee this time and I’m pleased with the outcome so far. I am looking forward to a life pain-free and active. I would highly recommend Dr. Dervin. He is very professional, excellent knowledge in his field, great bedside manners and always helpful. He’s the best! Thank you Dr. Dervin for giving me two new knees

Dr. Dervin is absolutely amazing and I truly appreciate everything he has done for me over the last 5 months. Dr. Dervin did a knee replacement and after 1 month, I tore my quadracept tendon and he continued to support and follow up. I am so pleased with all the staff that palyed a roll in my continued recovery, especially Dr. Dervin and his lovely secretary, Connie. She is absolutely the very best secretary I have ever had the pleasure communicating with by emails, phone calls. She never ceases to amaze me; she is alawys on top of things and relays the message to Dr. Dervin. Thank you Dr. DERVIN for your expertise, kindness and for your passion that generates through the care you provide! Dr Dervin did my right knee ACL and LCL. Injury was initially in 2017 and he followed me until I made up my mind to hsve the surgery. Best decision of my life.

Dr. Dervin gave me 2 total knee replacements one in 2012 and and the other in 2016. Went for 5-year X-ray check-up last week and they are perfect. I wanted the best orthopaedic surgeon in Ottawa, did my research and it paid off. Dr. Dervin and his office assistant, Connie, are first class in every respect. Had zero problems and went for the short post-op exercise program at the Riverside Hospital as prescribed and all worked very well. Dr. Dervin is a first-class orthopaedic surgeon and his wait-list for surgeries attests to that. He is very pleasant, very knowledgeable, and open to any questions. I could not give him a higher recommendation. When mine were done, he recommended the rental of a Game-ready device which he puts on as surgery ends and the sleeve with ice-cold water keeps the knee cool and from excessive swelling for about a week or so. It is optional but I highly recommend if he is still doing so now. To those hesitant about the surgery, there is nothing to fear. Sure beats the pain of bone-on-bone pain. If living alone, you are told to go to a retirement home for a few days to watch out for any complications. I did and had no complications. I am now 80. Mary Lou Levisky

Doctor Dervin is an amazing Orthopedic Surgeon. I had my left knee replaced March 29, 2021. He is a very caring person with throughout information with quality care for his patient. Connie his Assistant is also amazing, always ready to assit you out with you if you have any questions or problems, she is right there for you and knows what she is doing. I am very thankful to have had them helping me out. I got to the point where I needed to walk with a cane and had to avoid doing so many things in my life. A big thank you to both of them but most of all, thank you Dr. Dervin to having walking normal again and getting back to living a normal life. Million thanks and big hug to an amazing surgeon. Dr.Dervin is an excellent surgeon I had a total right knee replacement in 2002 and my left knee in 2011 I had no problem since then. He explained the procedure and the outcome
He is a very gentle and compassionate person. Connie his very special right hand was very very helpful.I thank you both although late it was a very positive experience for me !everyone is afraid of having a knee replacement well it’s worth it stop suffering and go for it THM.

Dr.Dervin replaced both knees total and I have never had a problem it almost feels like I never had an operation I feel he did a fantastic job.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dervin for 10 years. When I was only 43 he basically saved me. At 43 and 43 1/2 Dr. Dervin gave me my first two partial knee replacements. I had already had a few knee scopes but it wasn’t long after but I really needed the replacements. If there’s one thing I can say for sure he is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever come across and truly cares about your orthopaedic health. I have been athletic my entire life and to not be able to do things was just awful but he made sure that I was able to once again be active and I even was back on the ice playing a decent level of hockey. In between a very large amount of leg surgeries for various things, I was able to reach out to Connie who was so amazingly helpful in arranging for me too be seen by Dr. Dervin on various occasions. Just recently December 15, 2020 I had a third partial knee replacement put onto the outside of my left knee. As usual, Dr. Dervin and his team did such a great job and after only six weeks I am feeling pretty amazing. I found out three years ago that I have rheumatoid arthritis which my rheumatologist believes is the reason my knees were so bad. Anyhow I could go on and on about how amazing Dr. Dervin and his team and Connie are. I am so grateful for people like this and I feel very fortunate that he is my surgeon and I’m under his care. Connie is so fantastic and even better… She plays golf. Any one who plays golf is a friend of mine LOL! I think I may have written a review years ago and I know it was just as positive as this one. It’s really great to see that they are consistently amazing.

Dr Dervin is considerate, compassionate, and truly cares about his patients' well being. Connie (his assistant) is professional and responds quickly to questions which is extremely appreciated. They are an amazing team. Over the years Dr. Dervin and his team have done the following on me. Tibial osteotomy, two arthroscopic on both knees, and finally two partial knee replacements on both knees in 2019 and 2021. I also can't say enough about Kemptville Hospital whose care is Number 1.
