Not with this doctor, not patient-centred, just about the billing. Will not submit again to what she put me through.

I have been "seeing" Dr. Tai for a couple of years now. (I have only seen her once in clinic--it's been telephone appointments since.) She didn't take a complete history, she doesn't ask about medications during follow ups, and she doesn't ask about symptoms or any other changes in health issues. She is singularly focused on the one issue, and does not consider any other health problems. She tells me to "eat less and move more" without knowing how much I eat, whether I have an eating disorder, or whether I can move more (other health issues can make exercise difficult and even unsafe for me). She tells me "don't take any supplements," although I am told to take--at minimum--calcium and Vit D by my GP and other supplements by my cardiologist. She thinks of me as only a liver and not a whole person. Telephone appointments last less than 5 minutes. I find her condescending, and she perpetuates the worst of weight stigma.

Dr. Tai's staff did not give me a strong enough anaesthetic before my colonoscopy, and she started the procedure before the low dose had even kicked in. She ignored my cries of pain and just kept going. It was a dehumanizing and painful experience. I've had colonoscopies before with adequate anaesthesia and no pain, so this caught me off-guard.

Dr. Tai was very knowledgeable and greeted me very nicely. I knew that I was in good hands.

Entirely incompetent & rude. Has not kept up-to-date with recent Gastroenterology interventions, medications, etc. Do yourself a favor & seek care elsewhere!!!

Doesn't care about getting to the root of my problem after 3 colonoscopies and wanting to do a 4th uhh no thanks!

She is the worst doctor you can wish to see. Absolutely no care for the patient. The staff are equally bad. Everything is so bad and unhelpful.

The only thing she does not care about is the patient ! So irrisponsible . I wish I could gove 0. She should be banned from practice.
I had 3 phone calls with her explaining my condition and she was giving instructions without even listening my condition. I ended up 7 times in ER and she was not even care to answer the phone or call back . I asked my family dr to ask for another dr. She is useless.
