Just had manometry test conducted by Dr.M. She is very professional with a pleasant manner and explained my results and options quite clearly.Support staff were very good too.

Dr. Moosavi has been amazing, she performed a colonoscopy that wasn’t complete elsewhere. I didn’t have any pain. She’s kind, she helped me calm down before the procedure.

I had my very first colonoscopy yesterday at UBC with the doctor Dr. Moosaviasl. It went very smoothly, and even though I was sedated, I was still awake. It was completely painless. She is pleasant and it was very quick. I thought the atmosphere at the UBC clinic was upbeat and I could tell that people enjoy their work.

I found Dr Moosavi direct & professional. She answered my questions in detail if asked. Factual and to the point. I found her pleasant and generated an energy that she was happy working in the field of providing the health care answers we go to doctors to provide ..I had dealt with Maggie in the past but I believe Vivien is the office assistant I was in contact with this time. She was very helpful. I would recommend.

She is incredible and would highly recommend. I've had 3 endoscopies with her and have active EOE and she has been incredibly helpful in helping treat my disease. She was more informative than any of my past specialists. She and her team are quick, responsive, empathetic, and very knowledgable. I've seen a few in the city and none compare to her and her team. Whoever is providing 1 star has probably never actually interacted with her.

Dr Moosavi has been my GI doc for a few years now and has done two endoscopies on me. Her wait list for mannometry and pH impedence is loooong so don't hold your breath. She's one of very few docs to do this procedure. You can, however, ask your family doc to refer you directly to the Esophageal Testing Lab at VGH for those tests.

No idea what people are talking about when she rate her with one star. She's a professional doctor and has an easy going personality. She expressed to me on numerous occasions the fact that how I present indicates more functional reflux than anything more serious. I had this same conversation with the tech who conducted the mannometry and pH impedence tests. I would hazard to guess that some patients have more challenging personalities than others. I know I rebelled against the "functional reflux" labels citing that my pain was real so there must be real damage happening. Not necessarily the case.

Folks can be assured that Dr M is a competent and capable doctor who will treat you with respect. To the person who said that once you've been a patient of hers you can't be a patient of anyone else's, I think this is a general process that these specialists follow. It allows for continuity of care. It's not a slight against her capabilities.

Now that she has moved to VGH I'm curious to see if anything changes with regards to care. I somehow doubt it. I know Maggie has moved on. Lovely lady. She almost always managed to get me into appointments swiftly when I mentioned I work for myself and from home and can drop everything at the drop of a hat.

I recently had a colonoscopy done at UBC Hospital with Dr Moosavi and all in all, she made me feel very comfortable during my procedure. She dedicated enough time to go over my medical history and explained in detail potential diagnosis and next steps. Next thing I know, I woke up feeling well and with an accurate diagnosis to my symptoms. The nurses under her team were amazing too. Thank you Dr!

I had a recent Colonoscopy done at VGH with Dr. Moosavi who I found to be very kind, caring & attentive. My procedure left me with a positive experience with manny thanks to Dr Moosavi and her friendly staff at VGH. Highly recommend!
