Dr. Shojania was compassionate, informative and gentle. He has personally called me at home to check on me and made me feel safe and welcome. Dr. Shojania the time to explain RA to me as well as answer my questions. He was personable and I felt that I was in extremely competent hands. My RA did not present typically, but he diagnosed it, got me on treatment and got me off of the steroids quickly. His staff was kind and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Shojania and his staff to any person that I care I about.

Dismissive, condescending, and does not seek answers if there is not an obvious one. If you are looking for a doctor who is willing to be a detective and look at the big picture, this is not the doctor for you. Felt so disheartened after seeing him.

His staff at the dart clinic is not informative or helpful. It’s painful to speak to them and they make you feel stupid. Honestly I’m disgusted with the way I was handled as someone with a compromised immune system during the COVID-19 crisis. Let’s hope I don’t get sick because the lack of care from the staff.

Dr. Kam Shojania's response
March 2020 was a very difficult time for everyone. The DART clinic is run out of St. Pauls and we have had some staff turnover since 2020. Our current front staff at DART is outstanding. I hope she never leaves. I also hope you are doing well now.

Dr. Shojania is an extremely caring doctor. He is honest and takes the time to explain your condition. Recently, I was admitted to the hospital was told my both GI and Internal specialists that my condition was caused by lupus inflammation. Dr Shojania’s team was never contacted by the hospital. My wife immediately called Dr. Shojania’s office. Dr. Shojania personally called my wife back and assured he will review my hospital file. Within 20 minutes of that call I had Dr. Shojania’s team by my bedside at the hospital. This doctor is full of compassion and will go that extra mile to ensure his patients are given the best possible care. Specialists like Dr. Shojania are hard to find— no wonder he is so highly regarded by patients and colleagues. A real gentleman indeed!

Dr. Shojania's credentials speak for themselves and he is everything people praise him for. However, you must know him as a person. He is an amazing listener, investigator, and supporter for his patients. Nothing is off the table and everything is an option. In my example, after many doctors, and many hours of research, my wife didn't know what was ailing her. Dr. Shojania took one look and diagnosed, and subscribed and treatment within 1 hour. I'd recommend Kam anytime!
