I love my new glasses. Dr. Lu let me take a few frames that I liked home to show them to my husband. She gave me sample contact, lens cleaners when I picked up my new glasses.

I went to Dr. Lu to ask about the possibility of getting my eyes lasered after having had glasses for many years. She was very helpful in explaining what to expect.

My new progressive glasses are much thinner than the old pair and I can see much be better with them.

Dr. Lu was highly recommended by my friend who has been a patient 4 many yrs. She was very knowledgable about laser surgery and what my options were. She gave me some sample contacts 2 try to simulate what my post operation sight would be. I thought that was quite smart.

Dr. Lu has been my optometrist since I was a kid and now my kids see her also. Her staff is pleasant and thoughtful in keeping my kids occupied when it's my turn to have my eyes examined. I have been buying glasses and contacts for many years and on the rare occasion there is a problem it's fixed without hassle at no charge.

Where to start.Went to her initially to try out contact lenses and thought I should get an eye exam first in case my prescription had changed. So I paid 180.00 for the for eye exam(way more than other places)where she didn't stop talking - she never stops talking.Paid another 180.00 for "contact lens exam" and I tried 6 different pairs of contacts with her and none worked.Each of my visits there I was pressured to buy glasses from them-very expensive so I kept saying no.I eventually give up on contacts and decided to get glasses with my prescription at another store.Went to pick them up and I couldn't see out of them,wrong prescription!!I had to go for another eye exam elsewhere to get a proper prescription with Dr.Scott MacIntosh. He explained that with my stigmatism I can't wear contacts lenses! Would have been nice to know 5 months ago!So I had to pay for that appt. with Dr.MacIntosh and to get my lenses replaced in my new glasses, a total of $519, should have been $180?! BRUTAL!

Horribly overpriced. The receptionist tried telling me that because I wear contact lenses I need a 'contact lens exam' for an addition $100! The 'basic exam' is already more than double the exam price anywhere else. Find another optomistrist to check your eyes.

Staff was very friendly. Didn't have to wait a long time to be seen which is a rarity. The digital pictures taken of my eye balls were very interesting. Makes sense in this day and age to compare these pictures during the next visit. Had a good choice of frames. The different lenses available were explained to me. My glasses were couriered. Great service. Will definitely go back.

I have to say that my first experience with Dr. Lu and her staff was excellent. We had a very thorough and complete exam. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy. She was honest with me and suggested laser eye surgery which to me was exactlty what I wanted to do. I bought my contacts there (same price as Costco by the way) plus I am receiving a $20 rebate.

For me it was a similar experience to going to a used car saleswoman. Constant talk designed for the "hard sell". My eye exam seemed merely a means to an end - the high priced sale. She seemed not happy when I didn't buy anything. While I have no problem with the actual exam and its results, I neither have the time nor the patience for the constant sales routine.
