Dr yeung was able to identify what my 6month old son was truly allergic to — skin test result show he is allergic to egg and peanut. She give us advice and guide us to challenge with egg and peanut butter daily at home and my son successfully grew out from it before he turns 1.5 years old. There were couple times I need to consult dr yeung urgently and her receptionist was so helpful to accommodate and squeeze in a phone call appointment. It was such a blessing and I have to take this opportunity to thank dr yeung and her team again for all their advice and help.

For a kid centred service, its not exactly kid friendly. The front desk staff wasn't the warmest and the office doesnt really have toys. Its a tv in the waiting room and a single toy in the office.
Came a long way to be asked the questions on the sheet I had to fill out pre visit. I was told that they didnt need to do the testing after this and then gave my 7 yr old son a pep talk about getting his immunizations even though the reason why i said he hadn't had them (yet) on the sheet, and verbally that he has needle phobia due to traumatic experiences being flown to Childrens Hospital twice. I felt it quite unnecessary and very poor mannerisms as dealing with a child who goes directly into fight flight when he sees a needle, (full on panic and bodily evacuation)you know like i said - PHOBIA …Thinking a clinic labeled kids would be more kid friendly and kid centred, but it wasn't my experience here.

This is my son’s first visit to see Dr Yeung. My son is Autistic. Dr Yeung is patient, knowledgeable, personable and very good with my son who has special needs.

She was able to come down to his level to talk to him. Her calm and gentle demeanour helped ease his fears. She took the time to explain the plan and process of what she will do. This was so helpful for him.
Before starting the test procedure she showed him the tool and explained in detail of what will happen. She even let him hold it and showed him how if would feel.
Her communication made the visit a tear-free success.

Please take your children to Dr Yeung, she is amazing.

My child has been seeing Dr. Yeung for immunotherapy treatments this past year. I have been incredibly impressed by my experiences with Dr. Yeung and her team. Dr. Yeung patiently and thoroughly explained our options, when my child tested positive for a nut allergy. She walked us through the treatment process and we can now enjoy nuts in our home again! Through the process, I noticed that her and her team where extremely punctual (we rarely needed to wait and always left at the one hour mark, as promised). She’s incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions in a clear and concise manner. I appreciated that she provided me with packages and visual flow charts, on how to address any issues that my child may encounter during their immunotherapy treatments. Dr. Yeung was also great at engaging my young child, to make them feel comfortable. She was also always anticipating which prescriptions my child needed and readily provided them. Before the end of each session, she made sure we understood the next steps of the care plan.

When covid hit and we had an issue with our prescription, she promptly phoned the pharmacy and personally ensured that we would be able to correctly measure the dosage for our child.

One of the things I was most impressed by, was the communication between Dr. Yeung and her team members. When I communicated something to one person, the whole team also seemed to know. (My child was also seeing another Paediatrician at this clinic).

Tammi, her receptionist was also fantastic. She was organized, great at communicating and making us feel welcomed.

We feel incredible fortunate to have such a wonderful doctor/team helping us address a stressful nut allergy. Highly recommend this clinic!!

We did not have a great experience with this doctor when she realized that she is not able to help my son with his allergies. We were refereed to her by our ENT who realized that my son's allergies are affecting his health. My son is 13 and has blocked nose and bad chest all the time which specially bothers him at night. We found out that he was allergic to milk when he was a toddler (through blood test) and cutting milk solved lots of his health issues. Initially blood test showed a high level of milk allergy but eventually the number went down by not using milk. But it never went to Zero and stayed above the level of showing slight allergy. I was shocked when this doctor told my son that she doesn't tell him not to have milk! specially knowing I told her about all the symptoms coming back now that he has milk products. She was acting like a judge between my son and me which was absolutely unnecessary. Our son trusts us totally and knows that he is allergic to milk, specially because his dad has exactly the same symptoms and is also allergic to milk. I think all experienced doctors know by now that milk allergy is not as well know as we think and there is much to know about it and about it's symptoms. Both my husband and my son were tested in France and Germany and doctors told us that my husband's Asthma and artistes and my son's chest issues could be related to this allergy . This doctor was very friendly at the beginning but absolutely useless and extremely arrogant and insulting at the end. She told me that my son does not have to stop milk products and I just need to give him Melatonine (sleeping pills)every night to make him sleep!!! I wonder it she would do the same if it was her own child!

What an awesome doctor. Having seen many professionals in Canada, she is by far the best one. Truly committed, knowledgeable, friendly. She cares to listen to questions and takes the necessary amount of time to explain everything. Can´t recommend her enough.

Very friendly and knowedgeable physician. Great bedside manner. My little one was very comfortable with her during the visit and when procedures/tests were being done. We are so lucky to see such a wonderful and caring doctor!

Dr. Yeung was beyond reassuring and took so much time answering my many questions and calming my anxiety regarding my daughter's newly diagnosed allergies. Her staff is warm and friendly and so helpful. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Dr. Yeung. Highly, highly recommend.

She is the pretty much only Doctor we like here in Vancouver because she actually shows us that she really care and we matter to her. She never rush or try to kick us out but take her time to see my kids' conditions and give us helpful advice.

She completely changed my life by helping to fully diagnose my allergies. With one strange result on my skin prick test she ordered a blood test to confirm and then I did an eating challenge just to be positive. Now I can eat peanuts again! She was also very quick to accommodate my referral, much faster than other allergists! And she explained everything so much more clearly.
