Like others have said, he'll quickly get to the point on what he believes your case is without leaving much rom for discussion before he just walks out and collects his compensation from your tax dollars regardless of whether your patient experience was satisfactory or not. I can't comment on whether he's a good doctor or not since the diagnoses he's provided so far are very basic, but his ability to provide a patient with with what they feel is a comprehensive experience is trash.

When I first started seeing Dr. Seguin, I had recurring kidney infections. It was a constant issue and I was put on a variety of antibiotics for years. Dr. Seguin shared my frustration and referred me to a nephrologist who diagnosed me with a duplex collecting system on my left kidney. Even though I had a diagnosis I was still getting infections and it was Dr. Seguin who discovered that I was becoming resistant to the normal antibiotics and sent me to emergency. Once there I was finally given two courses of IV antibiotics which resulted in me being kidney infection free for numerous years. When the infections started up again he made sure to write a referral for an emergency visit again and I was able to receive additional IV treatment which has kept the infections at bay.

Meanwhile my blood pressure started getting extremely high and additional blood work showed I had low potassium. I was really struggling and Dr. Seguin made sure I saw the nephrologist again and a year and a half later I was diagnosed with Primary Hyperaldosteronism due to a tumor on my left adrenal gland. While waiting for surgery to remove the adrenal gland, I was often in a state of hypertensive crisis and with no previous history of mental illness, started having anxiety attacks. Dr. Seguin made sure I kept contacting the specialists involved with my case and he prescribed me anxiety medication. I am happy to report I have now had surgery and my blood pressure is normal!

Dr. Seguin has always taken the time to fit me in, even on his busy days; he listened to me and comforted me on my worst days; he was tough on me (In a good way) when I wasn't taking the steps to look after my self - insisting that I go to emergency and walking me through my medical issues so that I understood the severity of my diagnoses; and he would take the time to call me to check up on my health. I have always felt that he genuinely cared about my health and mental well being. I cannot stress enough that he is kind, thoughtful and a skilled physician.

My family is now moving back to British Columbia so I have to bid him farewell and I will really miss having him as my primary medical care giver.

Dr. Seguin assessed my knee, sent me for an immediate x-ray and had me come back a few weeks later.
His assessment was dead on and his suggestions for the pathway forward were excellent.
My wife is a physiotherapist. She accompanied me on my 2 appointments and was extremely impressed.
He answered my questions and gave advantages and disadvantages to treatments that I'd heard about.
The doctor was efficient, patient and very knowledgeable.

I was a little concerned to see this doctor based upon the reviews however I have nothing but good to say about him. Hi listened to me, he understood me and was great for advice and treatment. Would strongly recommend him

He didn't believe in my chronic disease and told me to look for another doctor. Thank you for reminding me that doctors like you are the reasons why we have a failed medical system in Canada and it takes years of bull
ignorant doctors, poison of medication to be truly diagnosed and treated with the right amount of care. My tip for anyone just look for someone else. Can't look for care when the doctor is too prideful and in denial...

Dr Seguin treated me and I had excellent service. He knows what he's talking about. Would recommend to anyone who needs an orthopedic surgeon

Dr Seguin treated me and I had the best experience. He got me my MRI referral in 5 minutes. He knows what he's talking about. Would recommend to anyone who needs an orthopaedic surgeon
