This doctor has gone AWOL and left many patients with unmonitored psychiatric medication and a whole lot of questions.

This "Lilac Lane Institute" is a culture of Toxic Positivity. I guess it didn't work...

Dr. Fogl is the mother goose of his special patients who he takes out into the community and plies with restaurant meals and outings and then takes them into his office and tries to butter them with soft and sweet words as well as gifts although he gets very angry if you do not do what he wants you to do and will not take “no” for an answer. He may make referrals you do not ask for or insist you watch TV shows and listen to music you tell him you are not interested in.

Dr. Fogl is usually a very personable guy. He is notoriously late for appointments and not following through on care plans discussed in his office with patients. He often forgets to call the pharmacy with changes to medication regimes and sending lab requisitions to patients after appointments by email.
Since spring 2022 he's been away from the office a lot and not notifying patients of cancelled appointments and cancelled groups therapy sessions is a real problem.
He does not currently have a Receptionist. His Receptionist of 18 months left at the end of May to go back to school. He had his daughter taking over till she went back to school in September 2023. His cellphone inbox is always full, he does not pick up, and now there is no one returning phone calls left on the office answering machine. It's frustrating. For all the good he does, his quality of care leaves a lot to be desired.

Marginalized patients would definitely say that a doctor who takes them to fancy restaurants during scheduled appointments is indeed compassionate.

Had some strange lady call me saying she was calling from doctor Fogl’s office to update my healthcard information . I haven’t seen dr fogl in over a year or more . Why do you need to update my Ohipcard info when I don’t even see you anymore ????? Seems a bit fishy no ?

Dr Fogl is the kindest psychiatrist I’ve ever had. He is very empathetic and does everything in his power to try to make your life better. He doesn’t just focus on medication he focuses on the whole person. If you want somebody who is dedicated to your well being I suggest you consider seeing him.

Dr. T. Fogl was the Psychiatrist of my ex, whom I visited in-person on numerous occasions at the Royal a few years ago. I couldn't believe that he was allowed to practice and carry a license as a top Psychiatrist! He gave money to my (now) ex right in front of me even though he was fully aware that he was an alcoholic and a druggie and an outright liar!! I reported it to the hospital but of course nothing was done. I was shocked. Time and again I told the truth to him and his nurse that my (ex) was very abusive, including sexually, and that I was trying very hard to get out of the relationship, and Dr. Fogl would say: "If he's that bad, why do you keep going back?" EXCUSE ME???????!!!!! HOW DARE HE!!!!! I begged my (ex) to get help from his doctors but with what Fogl was doing, how could ANYONE expect help?????!!!! Giving patients money?????!!!!! Seriously?????!!!!! Like buying them off??????? WHY Dr. Fogl??????? And why didn't you admit the truth about what you were doing????? You gave my (ex) the supposed diagnosis of Schizo-affective Disorder, but if you were a True Psychiatrist, you'd be fully aware that he is a narcissistic sociopath. And YES, I KNOW MY PSYCHIATRIC DISORDERS VERRRRRY WELL. I am very well educated. You are a joke of a doctor and deserve to have your license revoked.
