He agreed to take me on as a patient. At our first appointment he told me that this was a consultation where he would decide to take over my care or not. While looking over the referral he had had for 6 months he would not take me on based on my diagnosis. I felt judged, and not validated. He told me how busy he is and hard to get a hold of. I left his office sobbing as I walked out the door. It was a horrible experience.

A caring and gifted psychiatrist. Great help with a chronic condition.... both in the meds and Dr Lessard's listening and feedback.

Just had a consultation with Dr. Lessard. He was on time, courteous and very polite. He took the time to review my chart and listened to my story. He was invested in making a change in my life and accepted to take me on as a patient. He did make it clear that he believed in the approach of a combination of « skills and pills «  possibly; but he will share with you that you will have to be an active part of your treatment.

Been struggling for long time. Psychotherapy with dr lessard had made me change my view on situations that would thought of could never overcome. I no longer needs my pills and he supports my decision. He did give me a new pill for sleep that I take when I need. Works greats. He’s not pushy with pills but will tell you options

Dr. Lessard was very helpful to me and still is. Very competent in his work. I would recommend him to anyone. Continue the good work doctor.
