Great Doctor very compassionate and sincere. All is staff and his secretary are ether melt kind.

I had a colonoscopy today, performed by Dr. Enns, along with two nurses. I was impressed from the start. His front end receptionist was kind and welcoming. Both the nurses who attended to me were lovely - very personable and they put me at ease immediately - clearly they were both extremely knowledgable and professional. My interaction with Dr. Enns was very pleasant - and without question, I felt like this doctor was a pro. He was succinct, respectful and very thorough - exactly the qualities I want when I am seeing a specialist.

I came back to Dr Enns today after a first time in February. I came back because my problem was not solved and became worse in the last months.I am not happy with Dr Enns. The visit lasted less than 10 min, (after been waiting half an hour). He was superficial, cold, arrogant, he was very nervous, not patience to explain what he was thinking; he did not listen to me. He was in rush (I understand the busy day he had). He told he could not spend more time on me explaining and asking questions (sorry I am not a MD) because he went already through that during our previous appointment. He said he had previously sent all the notes to my family doctor (but she refers she did not receive them), he asked for an endoscopy. I found this appointment deeply humiliating for a person has been suffering of a serious stomach pain and digestion for so long as me (without understanding the reason) and after waiting for months. I never had such a bad experience with a doctor.

Went to see Dr Enns for the firs time for a colonoscopy. I have had this procedure already 3 times in the past, my previous doctor is now retired. Everything was fine with the initial meeting; Dr Enns gave me some options and worked out a long term strategy. He decided to go ahead with the colonoscopy which I had done at a later time. The procedure was done this morning in his office area, with a minimum of pain killers and such as he had explained earlier, and it was just fine. I was more "awake" then I had ever been previously and was able to watch the entire process on the video screen. Sure it was slightly more painful without all the usual drugs my previous doctor used, but I liked being more lucid during the process and recovery time was quick. Overall I felt the Dr knew what he was doing and would definitely see him again. His staff were very professional also.

Dr Enns travels to Vancouver island to meet with his patients. He is kind and caring, and has helped me manage and understand Crohns disease. I feel fortunate to have him as my gastrologist.

Listened to my description of chronic symptoms. Told me it wasn't possible for a person to have them. Repeated back to me word for word what I had just said, recording these notes for my GP at the same time. 'No, there is no treatment options or research about IBS since my last visit to a Gastroenterologist,15 years ago. Hmm. Was equally dismissive of two other patients which I could hear clearly through the partition. You are sick, go home.

Horrible doctor. All he does is talk into his recorder and ignores everything you have to say. Enns misdiagnosed me. Avoid at all costs.

We found Dr Enns to be very informative and helped us a lot with understanding condition. His Biopsy procedure was efficient. I would highly recommend him.

Be careful if you start off on the wrong foot with this doc. He decided I was mentally ill and he set out to prove it in his error-filled consultation full of psychiatric speculations. I didn't like him at all. It turns out I have multiple sclerosis. With the GI system being the second largest neurological network in your body, you might think he'd stop and evaluate objectively before deciding to be a psychiatrist. It's not like people who are mentally ill don't have health issues either. They deserve good medical care too. I never want him near me again.
