This doctor is beyond useless, avoid at all costs. He failed to diagnose my boyfriend with bipolar 1 during a MANIC ephisode and gave him +100 tab loraz to deal with it (takes 10 to kill yourself). Time passes and another MANIC ephisode happens, thankfully the police were able to recognize what was going on and he was admitted to the psych ward. The police literally knew more about mania than this dude. Could've been avoided if this "doctor" knew how to practice medicine. 8 months off work and an inordinate amount of stress because this man doesn't know how to di his job. If a dr is accepting patients, it's a warning because all of the patients who have waisted time figuring out this doctor is waisting their time have left, and have paid the price with their health. Thankfully my family doctor's practice was able to take him and he hasn't had an ephsidoe since.

My daughter family MD, has been helpful with her allergies and skin issues. Very caring, knowledgeable and easy to talk too about her conditions.

The comments totally reflect this former neighbour of ours. We were in total disbelief that this man could possibly be a physician. Didn’t want him as a neighbour and sure…

I agree with all the negative feedback. This doctor is a disgrace to the medical community. He is arrogant and disrespectful. He talks down to you. Very disappointing.

Dr. T. is a very competent "conventional medicine" doctor. He has done everything he can to help me as a patient for the last few years. While he can be a bit curt if you mention alternative medicine or alternative medicine practitioners, (sometimes with good reason), I have always found him to be kind and respectful.

Similar experience to other patients. I put trust in this man, and in the hindsight, I should have switched to another DR year ago. You get better attention and follow-ups at a walk-in clinic.

He will EVENTUALLY aid you, though only AFTER thoroughly torturing you with insults, every conceivable sort of delay, a complete lack of social/self awareness, and demeaning hour long rants about politics and gratefulness; and should you dare disagree with his "expert" opinions on these matters, regardless of whether such matters happen to be your own field of expertise and beyond him, he will accuse you of arrogance and narcissism -- clearly projecting unto you his own flaws. God forbid you admit yourself to be anything other than other than a bleeding-heart progressive: he WILL attempt to forcibly convert you for an hour (at the expense of his next patient's time, or course). He will give you, at most, five minutes to explain your issues before bestowing upon you his eternal, divine judgement of your health and character, beyond which he becomes totally unreceptive to further information. Questions are interpreted as doubts of his vast intelligence, omniscience and McGill education. The stories I have of this man (yes, plural) would drop any sane person's jaw, and severely diminish their faith in the practice. Rather than suffer you through the stories, take the fact that, at the time of my departure, he was accepting new clients; a clear red flag for a GP, especially one of his age and experience. Classic case of an utter narcissist, and, frankly, insufferable human being. Glad to be rid of him. At least my issue was eventually resolved. Avoid at all costs.

He told me amd my daughter he has adhd he argued with my daughter about politics. He was up amd down signing or stressed out never know what to expect. He is rude then kind. I did a complaint at the college of physician and je was so two face schizophrenic that he managed to play with their minds and they believed he was normal which is so sad as he is not to be trusted in many ways. Be careful.

Extremely rude as he does not know how to properly communicate with his patients. He has a very aggressive approach and it is his way or the highway mentality.

Do not recommend.

Dr. Torontour abandoned me when his clinic closed in Orleans at the end of May of 2020 . He never contacted me to advise that he was going to be practising at a new clinic. I had been diagnosed with an auto immune disease 8 months earlier that needed constant follow-up and blood work to be assessed and one day I called his clinic in early June to make an appointment and they were closed. Message left on the clinic voice mail said your doctor would contact you to advise how care would be provided, but I never heard from him again. Luckily he had referred me to a specialist at one point, and I contacted her to get renewals on my medications. She was my life saver because she referred me to a rheumatologist who is the type of specialist I should have been referred to in the first place.(something Dr. Toronotour had refused to do when I had asked him). After not being able to locate Dr. Torontour and never hearing from him again, I was lucky to find a new family doctor recently that it is very helpful and I am happy that it finally all worked out, but it was not without a lot of time spent on my part to ensure I got what I needed. It emphasizes the need to look out for your own health because there are some doctors out there who won't do it for you and Dr. Torontour was one of them.
