I work at a pharmacy and had the unfortunate experience of answering one of Dr. Zia, Khawaja Azhar’s phone calls. He was yelling at me and my pharmacist and was plain rude. I don’t care if you are a Doctor or whatever title you may have, everyone, deserves to be treated with respect. Do better!

I have been a patient of Dr. Zia for a number of years now (maybe five or more) starting with being referred to him in my teens. If you are someone struggling with mental health and you feel like all is lost, Dr. Zia does not give up until he gets results. I would often go into appointments feeling guilty of needing to be seen so often (bonus, he see’s the sense of urgency behind how you are ACTUALLY doing) and when I left, I felt as if though I was actually cared for. This doctor has been the most patient, understanding, kind and I will add again- PATIENT, doctor I have had the opportunity to be treated by. Dr. Zia has allowed me to find light in the dark and treats me like a person, not a problem or business interaction. He has assisted me with what seems like a book of diagnosis’ and I have truly learned the importance of having a good relationship with a good psychiatrist during recovery.

Huge thanks to Dr. Zia for helping me get a hold on my mental health no matter how bleak it seemed, advocating, pushing and reminding me I’ll be okay the whole way. I could only hope more medical practioners would follow the compassion Dr. Zia demonstrates to his patients.

I had been with him for quite some time and he cared about my depression and I had treatment resistance and he is helping to deal with the problem one at a time. He has tried several medications and was very nice to me and my family. He cares about his patient. I am very happy to have Dr. Zia dealing with my difficult depression and ADHD related issue

Dr Zia met me on Psychistry Uk portal with video link .
He is based in Canada with 7 hours time difference it was amazing to see a British trained Canadian psychiatrist .
Very professional , understanding and thorough knowledge of his skills and field .
I truly believe that world is global village .
