Although this doctor does show genuine compassion and care in his approach towards me, he tended to be over controlling and over medicated me during my stay at the hospital.

Am very impressed with this psychiatrist. Really knows his speciality well and lifted me from a very serious depression to a very happy and content mental and emotional state. Hard working as well - even sees hospital patients on the weekend. Best psychiatrist that I've ever had the privilege being treated by.

Wow, I don't think I have ever had a doctor spend as much time with me before! The phone call appointment was for assessment and second opinion prior to bottom surgery in Montreal. Dr. Joffe was very thorough in his questioning while also being extremely compassionate and reassuring throughout. I am very impressed and wish that more doctors could be like him.

Excellent with coming up with options. Compassionate. Excellent explanations. Highly dedicated to find the best medication fit for me. What a star in this field. I wish I hadn't wasted my health with some other therapists. I would like him to review my nutrition project as an adjunct to medication for patients struggling with depressed mood. He is King of the psychiatrists as per my husband. Best wishes for all years to come.

If it wasn't for Dr. Joffe, I probably wouldn't be here. He is so understanding, caring and helpful. It really helps that he also has a great sense of humor.

Super impressed with this doctor. I was so scared of meds but he helped me overcome that, I am now slowly getting back to healthy with meds for depression/ anxiety. He cares, takes extra time.... and knows his stuff. If you need a psychiatrist - this guy is the best one out there. Goes the extra mile and really cares.
