Dr. Thamboo and the students working with him are top-notch. I have met with Dr. Thamboo twice regarding an unknown substance in my sphenoid sinus discovered incidentally on a CT scan. While another surgeon, Dr. Janjua, recommended surgery, Dr. Thamboo suggested a more conservative approach - medicated rinses (which never worked due to how congested my sinuses were), waiting a couple months and doing the CT again to see if my body cleared the sinus. Thankfully, it did and I avoided surgery. I'm grateful to have asked my GP to refer me to Dr. Thamboo for a second opinion. I didn't know that flagella in my sinuses could help clear this without surgery (for those interrested, flagella are microscopic hair-like structures involved in the locomotion of a cell. The word “flagellum” means “whip”. The flagella have a whip-like appearance that helps to propel a cell through the liquid. Some special flagella are used in few organisms as sensory organs that can sense changes in pH and temperature).
The student working under Dr. Thamboo gave me so much helpful information without being prompted - most medical personnel often withhold useful/educational info from patients, which I find increases worry about our prognosis.

Dr. Thamboo is truly a magician at what he does. I've had chronic sinus problems since I was a teen. Then a nasal polyp grew in my nose and he was able to remove the nasal polyp that was obstructing my breathing..I had become a mouth breather for a year of my life and he was able to identify the problem and do the appropriate surgery. Forever grateful for Dr. Thamboo. He's a very kind, pleasant and welcoming doctor. Yeah dr. Thamboo is a rockstar of a doctor!!

Dr. Thamboo has been absolutely amazing, I just had my sinus surgery and am already seeing amazing results. I had a few complication post-op and his Fellow was extremely thorough and called to check in on me everyday. They move appointments around and even offered to see me on an off day due to my complications. Farzna is an amazing communicator, Dr Thamboo is funny and personable. I have heard from many surgeons that Thamboo is amazing at what he does and I can truly see why. Highly recommend.

Dr Thamboo is a very knowledgeable Doctor. He is compassionate, friendly and efficient doctor. His assistant Dr Dak is also good, well mannered. They explained well the procedure and answered all our questions. Farzana, his MOA is also very helpful, polite and efficient. We’re so happy with this medical team.

Dr. Thamboo is another one of the excellent medical professionals that I have encountered at St. Pauls. Some time ago I was the recipient of extensive surgery performed by him that was very successful. Dr. Thamboo is a wonderful innovative doctor and surgeon with a caring and helpful office receptionist, Farzana. I had 4 surgeries for removal of the same front sinus tumor before I met Dr. Thamboo, and the tumor reoccurred shortly after the surgery. But Dr. Thamboo's innovative method of surgery was excellent, not only painless and comfortable, there is no sign of the tumor reoccurring until now, which is 6 months after the operation. I am grateful to Dr. Thamboo, his fellows, and Farzana, and confidently recommend Dr. Thamboo!

Really caring and positive outlook. Did not sugarcoat things, but kept things optimistic and took the time to answer all our questions. Dr Thamboo was the first doctor my partner and I encountered while dealing with a chronic disorder that made us feel heard and this, after many doctors rushing through things and/or providing no direction, was something we really appreciated.

I have visited Dr. Thamboo a couple of times. While other ENTs had advised me to do surgery, he advised against it, and let me to the real reason why I had all the sinus pains. No matter how good Dr Thamboo is, my main reason to put feedback here is for Farzana Sahib, his assistant. I was in an immense about of pain. I walked in and she helped me with so much care and compassion. She made sure that I get an appointment very quickly. This happened again for another friend of mine, whose mom had been bleeding from her nose. She gain arranged an immediate appointment with him, and left the family out of their pain and misery. The truth is no matter how good is the dr, their assistants are their gateway. They have such an important role in empathizing with the patient and guiding them through. Farzana has been an angel for me and my friend, number of times.

Such an amazing surgeon with a kind gentleness about him. He gave me back more quality of life than i could have ever imagined. Healing has been exceptional I could sleep without meds or sleeping aids 4 days after surgery Now 10 days I feel so good
