Dr. Prisman is God's God's hands on the earth.
He did a surgery on my husband's face, removed the patroid gland in 2019.
He did assured us that he removed all the affected lymph nodes around it so my husband didn't need any radio theraphy after. Dr. Prisman is genius. Just by checking the results from scans before the surgery , he could say that the tumor is not benign. So he could remove everything that was affected during the surgery. The appointments after the surgery was great and he was kindly assured my husband and me that the operation went well and then he will see my husband every year for 5 years to make sure all is good.
We need more genius, caring and knowledgeable doctors and spacialists like him in all fields. Thank you Doctor Prisman!

Dr. Prisman is a genius - as a Surgeon and a caring human being. Stage 4 intraoral SCC at 39 years old is a pretty terrifying diagnosis, but between him and Kelly, we felt like we had the best, most competent and compassionate care. Reading the other reviews just solidifies that we truly were in the best hands and are so blessed to have been able to have access to his expertise and care.

I was diagnosed with tonsil cancer in October 2019 and was referred to Dr. Prisman. In February 2020 I underwent robotic throat surgery to remove the tumour. The surgery was successful and my lymph nodes were negative. I have not had any complications since to speak of. After discussing my surgery results with him and the Cancer Centre he agreed with me that radiation was not the best course of action and I am glad I did not need it. Throughout this process Dr. Prisman was extremely helpful and I can’t speak highly enough about his care. My wife felt very comfortable while talking with him. He is the best doctor and his staff is great. I just finished my last visit with him and I feel fantastic.

Incredible commitment to patient care I never coins have imagined. I had a nasopharyngeal cancer that recurred after chemo and radiation. I had no other option but an aggressive surgical option. Dr Prisman has the largest experience of this surgery in Canada. The approach requires to open my cheek bone just to get access and then he and Dr Gooderham (incredible neurosurgeon) bypassed my carotid artery to my brain circulation - removed my tumor and carotid artery, and then placed a transplant from my thigh, and put me back together. This past week was my five year follow up. I am doing great and can express enough thanks and gratitude to Dr Prisman and Dr. Gooderham and their professional team.

I was diagnosed with Salivary Gland Cancer in November 2022 and scheduled for soft palate resection, with radial forearm transplant and right neck radical neck dissection on January 12th, 2023. I can't say enough about the excellence in care that I received from Dr. Prisman and his amazing team. They were attentive and responsive to my needs through the whole process. I felt that they heard me when they spoke with me and I feel that I receive so much compassion and understanding from Dr. Prisman and his team.

I had a very blessed result from this surgery with the pathology showing that they had taken out all of the cancer and that the cancer had not spread to my lymph nodes. The only thing that I need to do is heal from the surgery and have a follow up with Dr. Prisman in six months.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Prisman and his team. I knew I was in gods hands at all times and that Dr. Prisman was the best surgeon to support responding to my cancer diagnosis.

A real professional and expert. I had a complicated sinus cancer that needed open surgery and a reconstruction with my own shoulder blade as a transplant. Dr Prisman was so kind and informative and performed an immaculate surgery. I am amazed as to how well I feel and how good the outcome is. His is assistant Kelly was so helpful as was the rest of the medical team. I highly highly recommend Dr. Prisman and his team.
