Dr. Matthew has been the single most important and effective clinician (or any designation) in my health and wellness. I have seen a good handful of different psychologists, and he is absolutely the best.

I'm so grateful for the guidance Dr. Mathew has provided in navigating my treatment as an advanced prostate cancer survivor. Without him I surely would be drowning in the sea of online cancer information.

I consulted with Dr. Mathew as a prostate cancer survivor, facing combined issues as a result of treatment and ageing. Dr. Mathew helped me quickly identify the issues and their cause, and what I could do myself to manage in a better way. Success!

Thanks to a wonderful nurse at Toronto General who highly recommended Dr. Matthew, I was able to enlist his help in my treatment for cancer. I am so glad I followed through on her advice. Dr. Matthew has been a big part of my success so far in beating back the disease and keeping me as whole and well as possible. His expert counsel, given despite the constraints imposed by a pandemic, has given me the tools and insights to come out on the other side as healthy and strong as possible. I cannot quantify how highly I recommend his services, and am so grateful for all he has done for me and my family.

It was 5 years ago when I first met Dr Mathew after learning I had stage 4 cancer. I had just had life saving surgery that removed part of my spine and I was broken both physically and mentally. Dr Mathew helped me through this dark time with his empathy and kindness to me.  I was also introduced to Mindfulness which helped me cope with living with cancer. He has been instrumental in my emotional recovery.  His staff has also been excellent and always helpful. I will be forever in his debt as I continue my on-going cancer treatment. Thank You so much Dr Mathew!  M.Lynch :))

Dr Andrew Matthew has been an integral part of my cancer treatment and recovery since 2018. His expertise in dealing with trauma and the impact of PTSD within the context of a cancer diagnosis has given me the practical tools needed to move towards deeper understanding , acceptance and healing. His caring support and powerful insights have guided me through both the physical and emotional challenges of a rare and uncertain cancer prognosis. With empathy, openness and a great sense of humour Dr. Matthew continues to create a doctor/patient bond that inspires total trust, safety and hope. I am incredibly grateful to have him on my team and in my corner!

Dr. Matthew is truly a caring human being--that is evident in every aspect of his communication. He is so knowledgeable and experienced that he can immediately see which issues need to be addressed. He explains things well and is also an excellent listener who is empathetic. I don't know what more someone could expect from a psychologist. Whomever has the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Matthew is very fortunate to have access to such a talented and wonderful person. I feel very grateful to have had time with him.

I first met Dr.Matthew in 2003 , it was a very difficult time in my life. Dr. Matthew helped me at a time when I couldn’t see myself ever being ok! He helped me see that just wasn’t the case.
I am very grateful for Dr. Matthew, can’t image how my life would have played out had I not met Dr. Matthew. It’s coming up on 20 years and every once and a while we get together when I need a tuneup.
