During pandemic telephone contact only. First in-person appointment after pandemic was a disaster. Arrogant and judgmental about my MS status. A week later a letter from MTO informed me that she had revoked my driver's license although I had not had any accidents or traffic infractions during several decades of driving. I was blind sided by her decision. $2,000 and five months of anger and depression later I am permanently isolated at home dependent on family, friends and taxis to get around. Patients take note, if you are a senior you may be next in line for arbitrary isolation.

I've been Maclean's patient for a while now and one thing I've learned from being her patient is not to trust her. She's judgmental and gets offended easily. If she makes a mistake she doesn't own it and blames it on her staff. My health has gotten worse partly because of her.

I have had Dr. Maclean as my neurologist for about 15 years. She is thorough, patient, kind and takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns. She has always included me in my care and asked me if I agreed and understood the course of my illness and treatment plan. I don't know what I would have done all these years if it wasn't for the ms clinic at the Ottawa Hospital.

She doesn't give you the time or patience to explain the reasons for the treatment she's providing. She comes across arrogant and uncaring. I wanted her to explain the treatments available for my condition but her mind is already set.. don't trust her

I've been a patient of Dr. MacLean since the beginning of my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in 2009,
Dr, MacLean is a well-informed neurologist, she has been there for me since the beginning. I have had no issues with Dr. MacLean being professional, whenever I ask a question she is honest and sincere with me.

the staff at the MS Clinic are very nice and the nurses are very understanding of my needs.

I've been her patient for 2 years now. Minimizes your concerns. Doesn't do a thorough job. I no longer trust her. Looking for another specialist.

Lacks compassion and understanding. Disregarded what I said and dismissed my input. Failed to take major issues into account. she has no empathy and was patronising and judgmental the entire time. Look elsewhere.
