This doctor is one the best doctor I’ve ever met.

When I was younger i always put on long pants even in the summer…my legs were blue full of bad vaines.

When I met this doctor…..Dr. Beaupre treated me and since then…my legs are perfectly fine.

My wife had treatments done at her clinic in Jan & Feb 2021 which left her fighting for life in hospital after suffering a pulmonary embolism that was caused by the medication used. Shorty there after she received a phone call from the clinic advising her that she was no longer welcome at the clinic. To this day she still suffers with severe pain in her legs making it hard for her to walk, her quality of life has change drastically for the worse. In the end I would not recommend this doctor or clinic to anyone.

COVID protocoles have taken over rationality and politeness in that office. There was a mixup with my appointment and all they would tell me was COVID-related. They kept going back to an office manage, making me waste time on the phone, when all I wanted to clarify with them was that I did not miss my appointment a few days ago, since I found one in 2 weeks in my schedule. I had to raise my voice to the receptionist for her to even let me talk. In the end, I don’t think she even understood the purpose of my call. Time to look for another vein clinic. Scheduling mixup, no apology, COVID questionnaire leading to requirement to get tested (and risk catching it, no thank you) when everywhere else I go in the medical field, there is zero problem. I had COVID in March and my sense of smell is not fully back - entirely normal and reported everywhere. They are being ridiculous and cannot apologize for their scheduling mixups. Enough.

I was treated in this clinic in the past I didn’t see any improvement it’s a waste waste of money
I went to another clinic which is the Canada vein clinic which I strongly recommend the staff are very very nice and the doctor knows what he is doing he treated the problem from the origin not like her she only give injections which made my legs worse because of her wrong treatment
Don’t waste your money she doesn’t care doesn’t give you time and doesn’t answer questions or explain
No privacy in the room and her treatment with me didn’t give any results on the opposite made my legs worse

Je fus la patiente de Dr. Beaupré et Skilling. Je suis parfaitement d'accord avec plusieurs commentaires négatifs ci-bas. Les deux médecins n'expliquent pas leurs procédures ; il n'y a pas de respect de la confidentialité (ou la possibilité de parler seul avec le médecin sans nous-même le demander à l'infirmière qui nous regarde l'air étonné car on n'ose faire une telle demande) ; les deux médecins sont sur la défensive lorsque l'on pose des questions tout à fait normales ; ils ne montrent pas d'empathie, peu d'intérêt, voire même ils sont impolis ; l'atmosphère est pénible, on n'ose pas dire les choses à dr. Skilling car les infirmières sont là, tout autour, et on voit qu'il veut bien paraître devant son staff - lequel docteur, par ailleurs, ne me regarde pas dans les yeux, mais regarde son ordinateur, lorsqu'il me parle. Lorsque je dis que les traitements ne semblent pas faire d'effet, il répond : 'je ne sais pas ce que vous avez... peut-être ceci ou cela, mais moi, j'ai bien fait mon travail. Lorsque je demande le taux de succès des thérapies selon les études scientifiques, voici ce qu'il me répond très généralement : 'il y des études qui disent que ça fonctionne, d'autres disent que non, et même certaines disent que ça empirent les maux' . D'abord, il faudrait donner cette information avant les traitements à tous les patients et être beaucoup plus précis en termes de pourcentage en ce qui concerne la réussite du traitement et, surtout, la possibilité d'empirer notre condition. Moi, je n'y suis pas allée pour des questions esthétiques, mais des problèmes de lourdeur dans les jambes, il y a neuf mois. Depuis, ma condition est pire ( en fait, maintenant, j'ai mal aux jambes) ; je ne saurais dire toutefois si c'est à cause des traitements ou pas.
Mais l'approche de ces deux médecins est sur plusieurs points contraire à la déontologie médicale élémentaire au Canada, et contraire aussi à la politesse (ou au respect) à laquelle on s'attend habituellement dans la vie quotidienne et, d'autant plus, venant d'un médecin. C'est vraiment inquiétant. Je ne les recommande absolument pas.

There is absolutely no privacy in this clinic. Only a curtain separates the treatment areas. Patients are not given any privacy. Dr. Beaupre herself seems knowledgeable but does not explain her plan of treament or how it is working or what comes next. Her communication about the treatment plan was quite poor and her manner is very abrupt. Very difficult to schedule appointments.

The problem are the doctors at this clinic. A few years ago, after some treatments, I asked Dr Beaupré about the efficiency of the treatment in eliminating the pain and the heaviness of the legs. She answered : how did you find the results ? I said : I am not sure really if I see any results. You know what she answered to me ? : WHY ARE YOU COMING BACK THEN ? I was so surprised by her answer... euh euh euh... and I finally answered : because my general practitioner sent me here and you told me you could help me. I must add, I still couldn't receive any information about the scientific effectiveness of the treatment. I other words, we are very ill-informed in this clinic. It is the duty of a doctor to inform his/her patients and this is really not well performed at this clinic. Doctors are on the defensive instead of informing the patient properly about the chances of success. When we look at the Doctor Beaupré web site, we have the impression that if we don't do the treatment, we will deveIop all kind of problems in our life time. So Doctor Beaupré is playing on the fear of people - and although perhaps in some cases the treatment may work for some people - it would be very important to stress the limits of the treatment in order cases. I am a professor of bioethics to university pre-med students and I can tell you it is not this kind of behavior that I am conveying to my students.

Je suis cliente de la clinique depuis plus de 10 ans. Jai toujours été bien accueilli. J'ai toujours été très satisfaite des traitements et des résultats. Je recommande chaudement, à tous, la clinique du Dr. Lucie Beaupré.
