After losing 100 lbs at age 51, I found myself with a lot of loose skin that made my body look like that of a much older woman. Nowhere was it more pronounced than my stomach, where my skin hung in folds from the upper "muffin top" area of my abdomen to the bottom. I researched a lot of plastic surgeons in the area and knew that Dr. Macadam was the one I wanted to do my tummy tuck surgery. I'm only almost two weeks post-op and the results are absolutely amazing. I have a flatter, more contoured stomach at 51 than I've ever had in my life. My belly button is so cute and it's the first time I've ever had one that isn't obscured by surrounding fat. During the whole experience - from consultation to surgery planning to the day of surgery to post-op care - I've felt like I'm in the care of a highly competent, transparent, results-oriented, and caring team. Michelle, Dr. Macadam's coordinator, is an absolute pleasure to deal with and facilitates the whole process in a way that makes you feel well taken care of. I'm confident I chose the best plastic surgeon in the city and highly recommend Dr. Macadam to anyone considering a procedure.

I have recently recovered from implant removal/breast reduction with Dr. Macadam and am so happy on all fronts with my experience. Being a very complex patient with a history of hypertrophic/keloid scarring, I really wanted to take my time finding the best surgeon for me. After multiple other plastic surgeries with other top Vancouver surgeons over the years, I knew from the first meeting that Dr. Macadam was the right fit for me. For once, I didn't feel rushed at all, in fact, Dr. Macadam was way more thorough and had more questions for me than I for her to ensure best results. It is completely evident that she had my best interest at heart from the start. I've never had a surgeon really listen to my needs and deliver on those needs. Others have pretended to care to appease me, but ultimately dismiss my concerns and do as they see fit. This is not the case with Dr. Macadam!

Overall, I knew I was in the best hands with Dr. Macadam and am so happy with my results. Aftercare has also been just as seamless and I have felt truly cared for.

Also, huge shout out to Michelle who just goes above and beyond. She has the kindest and most calming energy and was so amazing with always checking in with me and making me aware that no concern was too small or silly. She was always available for me (even on a weekend during personal time) and all of her care was just so appreciated.

Michelle and Dr. Macadam are the best team and I feel so grateful for the experience.

I have complete trust and respect for Dr. macadam. She is so skilled as a surgeon and works miracles in the operating room.
I had a ruptured breast implant and replaced both in my recent surgery.
She was incredibly informed and knowledgeable . Her personality is sincere and very easy to talk to.
My surgery wasn’t simple, but she took the time to get it done right. Her attention to detail is incredible!
I’m so pleased with the out come and would recommend her to anyone.

I feel very lucky to have had Dr. Macadam as my surgeon after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She performed a two stage left breast reconstruction, as well as a breast lift on the other side. I found her to be very kind and extremely knowledgeable. She explains everything thoroughly and takes the time to answer all your questions. I was quite nervous, not having ever had surgery before but she makes you feel at ease and safe in her skilled hands. I was so pleased at the outcome of my surgery. She did an absolutely amazing job with the difficult task of matching the two sides, she has a very good eye for detail and is clearly a perfectionist. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Her staff is also amazing, particularly Michelle who is so friendly and organized. If you run into any issues or have more questions, Michelle is so helpful and gets answers for you in a timely manner. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at Dr. Macadam’s office. She made what was a very difficult time for me so much easier to deal with and I am so grateful for that.

Dr. Macadam is the most personable, knowledgeable and all around best doctor period. I’ve had my breasts augmented and couldn’t be happier with the results. They suit my body, and best of all they look amazing and natural after breast feeding two kids. I’ve since been back to see Vicky, the nurse injector and was pleasantly surprised by her knowledge and warm nature. The front of house staff are so sweet and I look forward to visiting the office. If you’re considering Dr. Macadam or Vicky, I highly recommend!

I have a bilateral flap diep reconstruction surgery by Dr. Macadam. She is an experienced and skilful surgeon. She's very personable and professional at all times. I had a complication during surgery and she handled it wonderfully. Michelle the receptionist is always prompt to answer my e maiks and concerns even on the weekends after my surgery. The wait to get to the surgery is long in part as the surgeons are all catching up after the pandemic. However, I think it's worth the wait and you're getting the best!

Excellent doctor. Called numerous times, receptionist never answers phone and rarely gets back to you. I was waiting for surgery time at clinic, left numerous messages ended up in calling surgical clinic. They said why are you calling here, doctors office should let you know. I was so stressed anxious Get rid of your receptionist.

I had breast surgery from dr macadam and I wish I hadn’t. I was happy with her consultation but the receptionist was very dismissive and this lead to almost impossible follow ups when I wasn’t happy with the size. I wanted large breasts and now I have the same size as before, the whole process has made me more self conscious. When I saw dr macadam for follow up she said I can get another surgery but the cost eas even more than the first one, I regret choosing her and don’t recommend her to friends or family.

One of the best surgeons I’ve yet to come across, she shows incredible care for her patients which I’ve never received from other surgeons I’ve been to. She’s a perfectionist in her work and overall just an amazing person. It’s rare to find a surgeon who cares so deeply even after surgery but dr macadam extends a new level of care to her patients. I’ve had a 10/10 experience with her as my surgeon and would recommend her to anyone.
