He was absolutely amazing. This was my third time visiting ER in the same week, and this time I saw Dr Kalirai. Luckily ER wasn't too busy, so he spent quite a bit of time talking with me and going over symptoms and history. I had several really severe and terrifying episodes of dizziness and palpitations. He ordered numerous tests, even a chest CT with contrast, as a blood clot was suspected based on blood work. Luckily it was normal but it did show other issues like mucous plugging in my lungs for which I was given an antibiotic. While waiting for all the different tests, I ended up feeling faint again numerous times, and he would stop by to check my pulse and reassure me again. He was truly one of the best. This is what a real doctor should be.

He was very nice to my Father and very helpful and knowledgeable when talking to my brother when dealing with my Father as the patient.

Although it took a very long wait in ER before I saw the doctor, when I did see him I was impressed by his thoroughness, listening, and approach to problem solving. Good bedside manner too. Thank you.

I rarely go to emerg, even when I know I should. Truth be told I have anxiety about how I have been treated in the past there. Dr. Kalirai was wonderful! Saw me immediately, knew exactly what was happening, gave me his full attention and was extremely friendly! Thank you for making a scary situation so much easier!

Amazing Doctor, he helped me out for my kidney stones this Saturday and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. Very down to earth and helpful. Takes his time when explaining instructions.

I have seen Dr. Kalirai twice now in the past several years, and I am impressed. He is extremely thorough and goes to great lengths to explain things while helping you to make decisions that are in your best interest. Very helpful with providing follow up instructions as well. Although the er is extremely busy, resulting in a long wait,you will get his full attention and time while he's treating you.Very down to earth and doesn't have the condescending tone thats so previlant with many other er docs.

I went to the Emergency Department because I was in pain. It was evening and I was very concerned and felt it might be serious. I wanted to explain to the doctor that I have a cystic lesion which is monitored regularly by a surgeon, but I didn't get the chance to. He did not give me a thorough exam and I felt he treated me rudely and acted as though I were wasting his time. I went to the hospital because it was after regular medical office hours and I am not a doctor and not able to diagnose myself. I believe a patient should be treated with the same respect that he gives the doctor and should not be made to feel like he's wasting the doctor's time. I gave this doctor a Knowledge rating in the middle because, to be fair, I don't know if he's knowledgeable or not. Unfortunately I did not find him to "helpful", "knowledgeable" or nice.
