He needs to retire. Completely out of date. If you smoke any amount of cannabis he will lump you into substance abusers and not actually address your concerns. He does not listen, comes in with preconceived notions and budge from them. He ended up making life much harder. Zero help.

Dr Skinner is very pleasant and makes you feel that he cares. Under his care my condition was controlled and I had few symptoms for over 10 years. He did a good job caring for me for many years, including putting me through a week long analysis at the sleep clinic when my symptoms came back. However, I am now a bit disappointed that he never recommended any treatment to deal with anxiety or stress which can exacerbate my condition. My current doctor did and it worked wonders.

Excellent Doctor and human being 1st Class. I worked as part of the nursing staff when he was at Nat'l Defence Medical Centre. He often encouraged me taught me basic neurology and was very patient and caring. He was never in a rush and treated everyone with a great deal of respect. I am for ever grateful for his patients and he is an incredible asset to the medical profession.

Dr Skinner is the best Neurologist that I was assigned to after the previous. (Beaulieu) decided to drop patience. Dr Sinner has been with me after the operation that took place at McGil Hospital. This operation has been over 15-16 years ago . He also removed from the work force in 2004 because I took 4 blackouts at 4 different work place , I am now on permanent disability . He also send a letter to the Police force because of the physical force they applied whenever I had just took a blackout. So is Dr. Skinner a qualified and caring doctor along with a person I say “ Absolutely 100 percent.

Dr. Skinner is the best neurologist I've ever had. He is realistic and comforting he doesn't sugar coat things or try to push all sorts of drugs on you. He understands all my medical problems very well not just the neurological ones. He made me feel comfortable with my abilities to live my life in spite of my issue.

Dr. Skinner is an amazing Neurologist. Although we have not come to a decision on how to help me yet. He knows what is causing it, that it will get worse before it will get better, recommended physio, massage therapy and muscle relaxers to alleviate some pain.

Dr. Skinner is every patients nightmare with added rude commentary. Did not inform the family when one of my parents had a stroke, did not re-evaluate medication leading my parent to have severe vertigo for a year. Also, as the neurologist for my other parent, was not aware of a cerebral bleed, did not test/evaluate enough leaving one of my parents dead. Not very caring, unless it's convenient and during his regular working hours, and needs to retire.
