Without question the worst doctor i ever ran into in the ER. No sympathy or understanding whatsoever. Very quick to pin my symptoms on anxiety simply because I was diagnosed with it in the past. Does not listen to you at all, which was very evident from his report that I later read on MyConnectedCare. Wrote no nausea, diarrhea, etc, when I clearly mentioned those symptoms not only to triage, but him too. At one point during our "conversation" he even yelled out "this is not a discussion!" Basically he doesn't care at all what you think or how you feel. He's got one of the biggest god complexes I have ever seen on anyone. He's a bully and has no business dealing with sick or vulnerable people.

Dr. Feroze is extremely efficient. He is friendly and a good listener. Although he may appear to be abrasive, his knowledge, attentiveness and completely thorough assessment of any/all issues are calming and help to alleviate stress. I prefer his no-nonsense manner to someone who sugarcoats the truth! I would definitely recommend Dr. Feroze.

Despite numerous deficiencies at the ER (a pervasive problem across Ontario), Dr. Feroze was exceptionally attentive, thorough, and communicative. His bedside manner was friendly and humorous, but he was also straightforward. Easily one of the best ER doctors I’ve encountered.

Someone watched as their child suffered from fever for 7 days, and in that time did not attempt to go to a walk in clinic or seek out their paediatrician instead they marched in to the emergency and when criticized for not doing anything about this earlier they decide to disparage a dedicated doctor that had the decency to call them out for their neglect. This is what these rating sites have come to…. chase away our good doctors who can easily make many orders their salary down south, yet remain here based on principle. Shame on some of you folks.

I keep reading how rude this doctor is by those that criticize him. His competence never seems to be at issue, no one has a story of misdiagnosis or failure, just anger that there was obvious disagreement through interaction. That to me shows a doctor that is not afraid to speak his mind and to tell a patient what they may not want to hear. Doctors are not here to be your friends, to amuse you and make you feel better about yourself. They need to be frank and tell you boldly what it is that you are doing wrong, even if you are a head strong individual that does not want to hear it. Chances are that if you ask for narcotics they will flat out refuse you, maybe even make you look twice at yourself in the mirror.

Perhaps it is a facebook post you read that you feel strongly about and the doctor is there to tell you that you are reading a bunch of quackery and you should not trust social media for medical advice. All these scenarios would make a doctor seem like he is rude, when in reality they are doing their jobs trying their hardest to make sure that you do what is best for your body.

I knew this doctor growing up, he sacrificed his best years reading books and studying so that he not only knew the right answer, but had a full understanding of the subject he was dealing with. I watched as weekend after weekend the rest of us partied and amused ourselves, while he spent his time deep in his books to make sure that he was not just average but more than that. So that he could give the best care to his patients, so that there was not a morsel of knowledge that he skipped or skimmed.

I see that those who have rated him poorly have given a poor score to the supporting staff and facilities, and maybe even the decor. Kind of easy to pick up on the spite and vindictiveness. All I know is that if it came to my health and well being, I would rather have a doctor that was frank and real, rather than someone that was there to make me feel good.

A doctor that is easy manipulate, or succumbs to patient pressure or is doing his best to appease you, is not a good doctor. I will take my chances with the strong assertive type one who some may call rude, one whom I know has studied his way through medical school and who did not take the usual shortcuts. A doctor who will not hesitate to tell you when you are abusing yourself or you are misinformed, even if that means that you may not like him as much. This is a doctor that is committed to your health, you will be hard pressed to find someone better.

I no no spek english well but I go see doctor for my quando quando no no how you say quando quando in english but its when you no go on no no go go but for men. Not women for men and he say its not quando quando but I no it is as my cowzin rancho have it last year and we no say or show as no one wants to no when you have. So I say maybe u give me the medicine he say no medicine because he not sure if is quando quando but he will do test and I give blood and he look on computer with biology and then he know the medicine to give. I call rancho and he say medicine but I no get medicine because is not in this cantree so I wait and wait and wait... and he call but quando quando go away and he say good that is what the biology say too that it go away and is good now. good doctor.

This was my second time encountering Dr. Feroze. First time in summer with a gastro issue. He was helpful, not once was he condescending. I wanted to leave the ER as my symptoms got better. But he talked me into staying as this was my 2nd episode in 12 months. The second time I encountered him was last night. ER was packed, I brought my 13 yr old daughter in with a sprained ankle. He was helpful, along with the staff. It was quick too. I didn't want to go to the ER but just in case there was a fracture. Dr. Feroze was extremely helpful, knowledgeable an to the point. I've seen reviews on this page that describes him otherwise. This has not been my experience. Thankful to him and to the staff at SMGH for their assistance last night.
