This man may be a competent doctor but he has little conscience.
I am a senior, covered by OHIP, came in with an eye problem and was charged $49 for an examination which I was later advised by my own doctor, should’ve been insured by OHIP. I haven’t yet done so, but am considering writing to his association/governing body about his treatment of seniors.
Shame on you, Dr. Chan.

I saw Dr. Chan last year for an eye problem and had a good experience he takes his time to explain things.I just had my first eye test with him the best eye test ever.I recommended him to my brother and he very much liked him.
Dr.Chan is by far the best optometrist i have been to thanks Dr.Chan for being a great Dr.

Dr. Chan helped me through an eye infection last summer and guided me through numerous eye exams for basic vision correction and finally through Lasik and follow-up care. He is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and is always very clear in explaining why he is doing tests and what the purpose or outcome of any exam is. He even stopped in to say hello on the morning of my Lasik which was a nice personal touch and really put me at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Chan for your vision care.

I first started going when I was waiting for a liver transplant. After I wasreceived it the medications can affect your eyes. He was right on it knew what he was talking about and answered all my questions which is important. When I started to need glasses rather then sell me glasses he told me it was a minor prescription and said go to Walmart much cheaper for me. would highly recommend him

I was surprised to read that comment. He sat down with my father and went over the results of the retinal camera. It was worth the $39. He was courteous and discussed the test results with my dad.

He is the only one so far to get my vision to 20/20. Always polite and will go out of his way to help you with your eye care needs.
