I attended Dr. Weise to learn why my right hand had gone numb and I had lost control over the fingers - bad news for a player of many musical instruments. He did not even look at my hand. Instead, he asked how my wife could stand me, and why did I not join a choir instead. I can only surmise that his medical degree must be from the the Tijuana Cantina and School of Medicine. What a waste of time and Provincial resources

After all these comments I still went to Dr. Weiss and I do not regret my decision. Incredibly funny, respectful, and intelligent. He was late once but he loves to help people.

Too emotional to write.
The staff neglected her job and yelling at me, a cancer patient , the whole time and laughed while I was crying.

Horrible experience with this Dr.????? Condescending, rude, disinterested in what I had to say and berated others who had treated me in the past, outright lied about the visit in the summation he sent to my own physician who is now making alterations to my treatment plan based on the misinformation he provided. What a mess and waste of my time.

While I cannot speak for other people and their experience with this Dr I will say that mine was quite the opposite. I was literally convinced that he would tell me I would have to amputate (and seeing that a good majority of people coming in and out were amputees while I was in the waiting room definitely didn't help) but I am glad I received the first glimmer of hope to managing my chronic primary lipolymphedema then I had since I was diagnosed officially in 2017. With respect to his attitude , I was definitely the sarcastic one between the two of us so if you are referred to him and go in with an attitude that you are as committed to improving your condition as he is then that is all you can do. I told him I cant live like this and am ok with anything not involving amputation and will have to see what happens in the coming months.

Absolutely horrible experience, and all around awful doctor. This was a massive waste of time and he provided nothing helpful to me, after I waited almost 3 months to see him. It is obvious he wants to take on new patients to fill his billable hours, as he can charge MSP for his time and earn about $800 with every "new patient" he sees. He let his resident start the initial assessment with no introduction or explanation. Proceeded to return to the exam room without saying sorry or explaining himself. Directed his comment only to her about my condition, didn't even address me or listen to my concerns or story. Listed a myriad of things I already know about my body and what I experience daily, like I should appreciate his OUTSTANDING knowledge (read: heavy sarcasm). Told me I could "spend my money elsewhere" when I explained all the other treatments I was receiving in order to get back to the activity leave of a healthy, 28 yr old female athlete. Left the office without a word, did not give me any treatment plan, follow up or ANY useful information. I was a use case for this resident and I wasted a sick day at my office to come see his joke of a physician. I would urge every patient referred to him to avoid at all costs. He is not worth your time, money, or the deep hope you are investing that at some point you will get the care you deserve.

Horrible and condescending. He smirked at me the whole time I spoke. My family has struggled to support me while I've been unable to work and he said it's the parent's JOB to support their kids financially. He blocked me from getting diagnostic imaging after I'd been suffering a whole year, then said there was no evidence of what was causing my pain (duh!). I had to pay for the image privately (while on sick EI) and when I got a diagnosis and treatment plan he said he wouldn't help and didn't know anybody else who would. Not sure what I did to get this guy offside, but he is completely TERRIBLE. If he doesn't want to help people, he should find something else to do,

My experience with Dr. Weiss was less than unpleasant. He spent 10 min with me only ,wouldn't listen to any of my concerns and wouldn't stop talking about himself. He didn't ask me anything about my history and completely rushed me out of there because he said he had other appointments. I truly felt as if I was just a number and he completely lacked compassion and empathy . I've waited so long to get into see him thinking he would assess me and then give me treatment options and he did absolutely nothing for me . Don't waste your time seeing this doctor.

I have found Dr. Weiss knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to . He has a great sense of humor as well. I think he gets some low ratings because he deals with people in pain who have unrealistic expectations about what medical science can do. His receptionist is very nice as well. It does take a long time to get an appointment but that is due to our medical system and not their fault.
