Dr. Weiss needs to stop wasting his patience appointment time bad mouthing his colleagues and talking about his holidays. He seriously spent more time talking about his trip bicycling in northern Italy than he spent examining me. His students appear visibly uncomfortable by his bad off colour jokes. He sent me to a Rheumatolgy Specialist who said I didn’t have arthritis. He then proceeded to waste time trying to prove her wrong and bad mouth her. He couldn’t prove her wrong then got mad personally attacking her credibility saying she was too young to know anything. His ego will not help your pain. Don’t waste your time.

This doctor was a total waste of time. Most of my appointments were him talking about his holidays or how stupid his colleagues are. He seemed to think my pain that was a result of a MVA was arthritis. Even though all the tests came back negative and the Rheumatoid arthritis specialist he sent me to said it wasn’t and wanted to know why he was wasting her time he insisted she was stupid and didn’t know what she was talking about. His ego won’t help anyone who is in pain.

I waited three months to see Dr Weiss. I have to say it’s worthy. He is knowledgeable and nice to his patients. Although my symptoms had been almost relieved when l saw him, he gave me advices and told me the prognosis, which are very important during rehabilitation.

My late husband saw him from the time he was assessed in the hospital if he was a good candidate for a prosthetic leg. He was great with my husband. I went to all the appts once he was an outpatient and also the initial apt when he was seen by the whole team at Holy Family. My husband loved him and he was a straight shooter but not rude. He cared about his patients and I have nothing but respect for his care of my husband.

after I read all the negative comments about Dr.Elliot P Weiss I felt scared and thinking not to show up for my appointment or schedule but my husband told me to try it before I give up I met Dr. Elliot P. Weiss and I listen carefully on all his question and observed well but everything is good and had a very pleasant encounter with him. I live in Whistler and he suggested me to look a Physiotherapy that has knowledge of IMS or Intramuscular Stimulation to make it easy for me and if I did not find any just emailed him and he will schedule me for my next appointment for me everything is good Dr. Elliot P Weiss is a good doctor and he cares for all his patient.

Think he is unny and makes terrible jokes about your condition.. waited 6 months to see him..
Then he will address "only one part "of your body at a time . So you will be waiting for months for example for some kind of diagnostic test omelette say your neck which is related to your back and hips

He showed up 45 minutes late for my appointment and then spent the first 10 minutes with me telling me he didn't know why my family physician sent me to see him. While I appreciate it when doctors are direct with me, I don't appreciate it when they have seemingly made up their mind about what the problem is before asking me any questions about what my concern is.

Had a very pleasant encounter with Dr. Weiss this morning. He is well versed in his field and in good contact numerous specialists and able to give a prognosis and recommendations to health issues that I had been carrying with me for more than fifteen years. Dr. Weiss is very knowledgeable and yet easy to talk. Unlike many doctors in the system where patients are treated more as a statistical number, to him, I was a patient and that to me, is the most important thing.

Lack of compassion, derogatory questions and unwillingness to listen. There was no motivation to problem solve or provide any beneficial advise or treatment. Unfortunaly it seems like he is cunning enough to proceed with the appointment anyways so he can still collect income from our already overburdened public health care system, even though his intent is to do nothing. Perhaps it is time to retire for Dr. Weiss. Thumbs down.
