Dr Fournier is an amazing doctor I’ve been with her pretty much my whole life and has done 2/3 or my surgeries. She’s so kind takes the right amount of time with patients. Yeah the wait time was long sometimes but you have to remember that you’re in a hospital and things don’t always go as planned. I turned 18 last year was so sad to leave her but will still be referred back to her if further surgery is needed.

Had my second eye surgery in Oct 2020 after a long wait due to the pandemic. The pre op appointment was fast as she took my final eye measurements and went over last min things with me. On my surgery day both before and after surgery, Dr. Fournier was very professional and made me laugh at the same time. She’s got an amazing personality and a great sense of humour. The post op appointments went well. In April 2021, I had my 6 month check up and once again, she was super amazing with me. After looking at my measurements and comparing results and testing me, it was determined that I need another eye surgery. She was once again, super supportive and answered all questions and explained things to me again. She goes above and beyond in patient care. I can’t think of a better person to have as my ophthalmologist.

Vraiment heureux d avoir eu Dr Fournier pour notre fils. Elle est tellement enjouée qu elle capte toute son attention chaque fois, elle prend le temps d expliquer à Maël chaque chose. Elle lui montre qu elle est interessée pour vrai. Elle est tellement connaissante dansson domaine et reste humble et simple! On l aime beaucoup! Elle a opéré notre fils deux fois déjà et on était rassurés que ce soit elle, chaque fois!

On the wait list to have my second eye surgery with Dr. Fournier. I’m excited.
The first surgery with her was pain free and the adjustable suture procedure the next day was fast and pain free. At my check up and suture adjustment the day after surgery, Dr. Fournier met me in the waiting room and helped me walk to the exam room since one of my eyes was patched and I was off balance. I thought that was amazing of her to do that. She really goes above and beyond to help her patients. She’s always smiling and completely attentive during appointments. When she did my eye measurements at my last appointment and it was found that I would need another surgery, she was very empathetic and comforting. The fact that I needed another surgery didn’t bother me though as I know that I’ll be in great care again. I have a ton of respect for her for what she has done for me. Dr. Fournier you rock!!!

Anyone who gives this legend of a surgeon a low rating is a liar! Dr. Fournier is punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, a great listener and explains things really well. She listens to your questions and concerns and tells you everything you need to know. I’m so thankful that she has taken me on as one of her strabismus patients. I’m looking forward to having my surgery. You’re in great and skillful hands with Dr Fournier at the helm. My girllllll!!!! Will rate again after surgery

Dr. Fournier is amazing. Unfortunately, due to lack of staff and a high number of referrals punctuality is difficult to maintain. I did rate her excellent on punctuality although wait times can be anywhere from 5 min to 2.5 hrs. Again this is a sign of the times and for the reasons I already wrote. Instead of rating her on "punctuality" I would prefer to rate her on the time she provides once you get called into her office. Dr. Fournier provides excellent care as well as time to answer ALL of your questions. Even if it puts her further behind. She often eats her lunch in between seeing patients and is late leaving for the day. CHEO and her patients are so lucky to have her.

Competent, friendly, pleasant, intelligent, caring, compassionate. Gave me faith in the medical practice again. Simply a wonderful person and doctor. Can I give more than 5 stars?!
