I have seen this doctor twice. On both occasions I was very put off by his complete lack of concern 7 compassion. On the first occasion I went to see him because I had been suffering from spells of vertigo for over a week. He told me the vertigo was nothing to be concerned about and would go away. The vertigo continued so I went to see someone else and was able to discover that it was a problem with a muscle in my neck and was able to get treatment for this. On the second occasion I wanted to get an insulin test done. Dr. Morrissey told me that this type of test is not done in Canada. The next day I went to the blood clinic down the road and asked them if they did insulin tests and if Dr. Morrissey could have requested that test for me. The exact words of the lady at the clinic when I told her that this doctor told me it was unavailable in Canada were: "He lied to you."

I only see Dr. Morrissey for my annual exam, but I'm usually satisfied with his services. He's not the most talkative, rather he's very quiet and calm. He answers my questions and makes good suggestions. My one complaint is that I have yet to get in to see him at the scheduled time - he has always been running late with other patients. It's frustrating to take time off work and be a lot longer than planned. Aside from that, for simple annual exams, he's fine.

Extremly friendly, patient and inquisitive about my problems. He doesn't hesitate to tell you if he doesn't know and will not hesitate to send you to specialist or for additional tests. He does office hours on evenings and weekends which is wonderful for working parents!!! Totally recommend him to the world!!!!!!

I walked out of his office frustrated, upset, and with more questions than I had at the start. He was condescending, almost rude. He made me feel like a child. I was disappointed that he didn`t care at all about my health. He`s trying to fit in as many patients as possible, to get paid. His secretary was rude to another client (I overheard her on the phone). If she was working for me, I would have a serious chat with her. She was polite with me, and greeted me well, but extremely impatient and rude to the lady who had called. Dr. Morrissey n'est pas quelqu'un de sympathique - il essaie mais c'est pas dans sa nature. Je cherche un nouveau médecin. La dernière fois que je l'ai vu, il y a 3 ans, j'ai été tout aussi déçue. Médicaments vite vite, mais rien de substanciel. Pas d'écoute, pas de questions, pas d'intérêt. Pourtant, je ne suis pas accaparante, pas dramatique, mais je veux qu'on m'explique les choses clairement et j'ai droit à des réponses.UN GROS ZÉRO.

HI! I have been with Dr.Morrissey for about 3yrs now, He is not afraid to send u to specialists, if he finds there needs further investigation.. He is friendly, reads the file in front of us.. Not threatening, calm . He knows what he is doing, very knowledgeable in his field of work..There has been a major improvement in the waiting, also his receptionist is friendly, polite and will do her best to get us the appointments we need ( as requested by physian) as soon as possible..I would recommend Dr. Morrissey, to family , friends and anyone who is looking for a family Doctor... Been with this doctor for four years and he is rarely late - and if there is a wait it is minimal. Very frank and to the point but I have always found him to be friendly. He is fantastic with my son!

Ne consulte pas le dossier du patient avant d'entrer la salle de consultation. Offre un diagnostic souvent sans fondement ni explication. Est adepte du traitement pilule et du suivi relativement facile quant à la médication prescrite, du genre "je vous revois dans 4 semaines". N'accorde que 5 à 6 minutes à chaque patient.

A busy office but a very pleasant, professional and thorough doctor so I accept the wait. I've referred other family members and wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend him.
