This guy will do what he needs to get your out of the office as fast as possible. He will not find out the problem but he is quick with the drugs and referring you to a specialist you may see a year from now. I hope you are not in real trouble.

I have been a patient of Dr. Morrissey for about 12 years now. My health is not stable and I have serious issues which he has always properly addressed and never hesitated to refer me to a specialist. He knows I don't like pills and he respects that and only gives me what I really need. He is always listening to me and will be honest with me if he thinks I need to make life adjustment such as exercise or diet changes but he is very respectful and he truly cares. He is the first doctor that has been able to get me diagnosed properly and he always works closely with my specialists. I would recommend him to anyone any day.

I have been a patient of Dr. JP Morrissey for numerous years. I can only speak highly of his attitude and care. I am reading some terrible comments and I find very unjustified and unwarranted. He takes time to explain and follow-up. He is using state of the art technology and he is always punctual and timely.

Dr Morrissey is not a good doctor. His approach to medicine is pills pills pills. Information? No you won't get any from this doctor. Consultation? Only if you push will he refer you to a specialist. I had pains in my hand for 6 months before he finally took me serious. He was all offended when I brought forth a supposition as to the reason for the pain and insinuated I was trying to play doctor for performing some research! He is rude, self serving and offers no real compassion or care. his idea of a diet was "Cut everything I ate in half" as his solution. Though he had NO CLUE what I ate regularly, this was his dietary advice. His consults are totally devoid of listening and his bedside manner is non existent. I am in the process of changing doctors due to his ineffective and RUDE behaviors. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. He gives a good meaning to the word "quack!"

Dr. J.P. Morrisey is an excellent doctor, very competent! He takes care of his patients, takes the time to listen and is able to send you in the right direction. I've been with him for a few years now and so has my family. I'm extremely grateful to have found someone like Dr. Morrisey, the wait is sometimes longer then it should be but here is why...he'll take the time to listen to you and explain to you what's going on and what the next steps are. It's worth the wait and makes me feel like he cares about his patients. I would recommend to anyone if he took additional patients.

Doctor Morrissey is fantastic ,he takes what ever time he needs to explain to you what's going on with your health and if it's out of hands and he cannot do something for you. He refers you to the right specialists whithout hesitation & makes sure all the tests results are send to the specialists on time. I got an MRI within 3 weeks when I was in pain for a back problem after being refered by this wonderful doctor. With our health system these days this is not seen to often but he did it. Thanks you so much Jean-Pierre you are wonderful. And to Pauline you are great thank you.

I've been a patient of Dr. Morrissey for years. I must admit it is not out of respect but out of lack of doctors. Personally I find Dr. Morrissey doesn't take much seriously, he generalizes most conditions, rarely ever follows up - I'm been complaining of fatigue for years now and he keeps telling me the same thing "do you know how many patients I have that complain about the same thing" and this results into nothing!!!! If I can find a new doctor, I would be out of there in a heart beat.

I have seen this doctor twice. On both occasions I was very put off by his complete lack of concern 7 compassion. On the first occasion I went to see him because I had been suffering from spells of vertigo for over a week. He told me the vertigo was nothing to be concerned about and would go away. The vertigo continued so I went to see someone else and was able to discover that it was a problem with a muscle in my neck and was able to get treatment for this. On the second occasion I wanted to get an insulin test done. Dr. Morrissey told me that this type of test is not done in Canada. The next day I went to the blood clinic down the road and asked them if they did insulin tests and if Dr. Morrissey could have requested that test for me. The exact words of the lady at the clinic when I told her that this doctor told me it was unavailable in Canada were: "He lied to you."
