Dr. Morrissey has been my family doctor for years and I am desperately trying to find another doctor which is impossible. He is so unprofessional, lacks empathy, very arrogant and I leave his office in tears every time I see him. He lectures me about how he only makes $34 for a ten minute appt and wants me to book an appt for every single issue. Sometimes medical issues overlap. I cannot take time off work to do this! If he stopped lecturing me, he could have easily had the time to address my request. I go to a family doctor for medical advice and compassion. I don’t need to hear about how he is not making enough money! I struggle with stress related mental health issues, and I feel so low mentally after I have had to deal with him that I have cried for days at how I have been treated. Be prepared to wait for your appointment and he never apologizes for the long waits. On a positive note, his office staff are very nice and a pleasure to deal with.

This doctor is more interested in what OHIP will pay him than what his patients have come to see him about. He brushes off repeated concerns about symptoms. Fails to follow up on test results making you deal with much graver illnesses and consequences down the road. Often away on holiday. If you're young, healthy and are just looking for a simple vaccine or birth control he's your guy. Otherwise, take your chances anywhere else.

He doesn’t care about his patients he knocked me when I was down needing help. It’s about money for him not patient care brutal doctor with no empathy he wants his patients to accept his mood change’s totally unacceptable and unprofessional

I feel he cares about my health. Yes maybe he does look at his computer while you are talking to him but he is listening. I always feel like he is genuine and is concerned for my well being. Only thing is yes I think sometimes he gets you to come in (for example) for results when it could of been given by phone. The staff are super nice too.

He is a wonderful doctor . He is Very kind and gives you the time needed for your issue. He acts quickly if you need a referral . We are blessed to call him our doctor.

This dr is awful. He does not care about patients I went there with my elderly grandfather who has been his patient for a long time. My grandpa always told us that his Dr didn't care and he never listened so I went there to see for myself my grandpa has been complaining of pain on his left side for months Dr Morrissey told him to take Advil it was jst a pulled muscle and that he was taking too much time and he only gets paid 30$ per 10 mins for patients and his time was up. Turn out after multiple visits complaing about this pain my Grandpa has stage 4 lung cancer and multiple tumors spread and is at the end of his life. This could of been avoided if proper care and test were ordered. We went to the hospital out of desperation and that's when we found out. Also his receptionist is awful no sympathy no compassion and is just a b****. Stay away

Not a good doctor at all. He does not care and seems to rush you when you have question. Does not take a clear diagnosis if you have symptoms. He belittle you as a patient and not organized

Been a patient for several years. Much improvement in the past few years in time management and updating office system. Does not have emergency appts. His typing is charting and a necessary function. He is very knowledgeable and has a strong code of ethics. Nicole beggs

Dr. Morrissey is rude, and completely incompetent. I've been with him for 14 years and unfortunately cannot find a new family doctor which means I'm stuck with him.
