I've been going to see Dr. M for the past four years. He has had a very positive impact on my life and mental health treatment. I would recommend Dr. M to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable and emotionally intelligent doctor. I was actually shocked to see any negative reviews regarding his work. Thank you Dr. M for all your help and support, you are appreciated by this client!

I gave this guy a decade to give me the right diagnosis. I switched to another physiatrist. Its almost like he has never heard of autism.

Dr. Morhaliek insinuated himself into legal matters concerning the welfare of my adult child. Found his input and recommendations to be very questionable. How he could make recommendations without a full understanding of the situation is beyond me.

Though I have no doubt that Dr. Morhaliek is a knowledgeable and accomplished psychiatrist, I found my experience with him to be less than helpful. Though Dr. M writes effective and punctual reports, I found him extremely difficult to connect with or open up to, and when I did open up, found myself feeling judged and questioned beyond reasonable means. His interpretations of me in his reports were extremely skewed and I felt, painted me in a negative light as though I could not be taken seriously. However, I recognize that part of this can be attributed to my own hesitance to open up. I was overmedicated when I left his practice, and found that the medications that I had been prescribed were incredibly difficult to come off of despite diligent monitoring from other mental health professionals at the time. Though I personally would not recommend Dr. M to a friend, I recognize his value and knowledge as a medical professional as it might be seen in the eyes of someone in a different situation than myself, with different needs, perhaps centering more around referrals or lower strength medications.

Dr.Morhaliek is an amazing man. After problems with multiple therapists and phyciatrists, finding a doctor that I can truly talk to without feeling judged is such an amazing feeling. He really does care about his patients, and is always willing to talk to me in any emergencies.

I saw Dr. Moths like for more than a year. I found the hours that he has a secretary available awful! You're taking to a machine and they don't get back to you but expect you to get a hold of them just the same. Very poor!
When it came to Dr. M., I found him to be impersonal. Is office is antiquated with a chair to sit in as he sits at his desk with his open lunch staring at you! Others offices in the house were much more welcoming!
I was referred to him because he writes a report in a timely fashion. I can say that he did do that but not much more in terms of helping me! My problems were not grave so the task should not have been difficult but I found my time to be nothing more than a pinch clock fee.
I have since found someone after him that is wonderful. So keep shopping around. There are Dr.s who really do care and love their jobs! This one really doesn't appear to.

We say Dr. Morhaliek as a family and individually. He took time to listen to what was and had been going on( with each of us). Dr. Morhaliek made us feel at ease and comfortable. Gave us different ways to deal with our issues as a group and for ourselves. He did not push medications on us, but we did discussed the pros and cons on them if we did choose to go that route later down the road. Answered every question and concern we had. It was good to have a droctor listen to our needs and take time to discuss treatments. Very professional and knowledgeable. Wish I could find another droctor like him here in New Brunswick.
