Dr. MacRae is extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful human being. He is a very good listener and will dedicate the time needed to explain what can sometimes be difficult to the average layman.
I have been under his watch for about five years, getting the best care possible. We in Ottawa are fortunate to have someone of his caliber.

never rushes, 98% on time (or early), explains well, clear vision for treatment. Seems happy for you when results are good and 'sad' when the numbers are not so great.

Dr. MacRae has cared for my mother for years. She absolutely loves him. I am also a health care professional and I can tell you that he is awesome. He listens and answers questions. Is very professional. He never rushes you and is very kind. Would not change him for any other doctor.

Easy to talk to. Patient with questions, answers each question fully with added explainations if required. Knowledgeable, no BS. No condesending attitude like some Drs still have. You're like a person with him, seems to understand if you need an oncologist your probably worried on top of everything, so takes the time to tell you your options.

Dr MacRae takes the time to explain what needs to be said in terms that are easily understood. He is very direct in the sense that ensures that his client understands but he is able to pass the information in a manner that is less overwhelming. He helps to make informed choices about the way forward. Has the ability to lighten the impact of the facts …………empathy
