Dr Clarkson is the Man! He removed a deep,large tumour from my left hip/Glute. His pre-op visit was clear,concise and accurate. His professionalism gave me confidence and EVERYONE at UBC hospital were compassionate professionals. The surgery took an hour and a half with a post-op overview from the second surgeon Dr Gagne who also exuded all the traits of a true professional. As fine a surgical experience as anyone could expect. Really. Thank you!Carl Jamieson

I am an eightyish year old man who had a suspicious tumor in the right upper inner thigh. The tumor appeared a third time over a thirty year period, the two previous occurrences were benign liposarcomos. With the latest recurrence, historically, there was a chance the tumor was active. Over the summer the tumor grew larger at a faster rate. I decided to remove the tumor. By the time Dr Clarkson was scheduled to be available I was on travel. I gladly paid for return travel to have Dr Clarkson perform the surgery. A benign liposarcomo was removed with no complications. Praise the luck of having Dr Clarkson as surgeon and a benign liposarcomo.

Dr. Clarkson exceeded my expectations (especially after being bumped from doctor to doctor). He is knowledgeable, patient, and charismatic. Everyone was friendly and accomodating. I am so grateful to have had him work on my knee.

Dr Clarkson removed a suspicious lipoma from the sole of my foot in March 2017. He and his staff were professional, empathetic and efficient. Healing is proceeding well and I am so very grateful to have had his expertise.

We are so fortunate to have Dr.Clarkson in Vancouver. he did an amazing shoulder reconstruction on my husband .We are so grateful for his expertise in a very difficult and challenging situation. He went above and beyond to provide my husband with mobility with a prosthetic shoulder in his right arm after a difficult tumour removal. he is the best!

I could not be more confident with a doctor if I tried. Dr. Clarkson has all the qualities you would want, when facing the unknown; he is compassionate, understanding, knowledgable and skilled. It is because of him that I am able to write this today, for that I will forever be grateful.
