I saw Dr Gingrich from 2011-2014 for chronic pain due to degenerative disc disease. As others have stated, Dr Gingrich is one of the kindest Dr's I have ever seen. He truly cares about people's pain. His office is the only one I would leave where I did'nt feel terrible from the comments Dr's would make about 'the opioid epidemic'.
What we have today in the US is a lack of empathy for people truly in chronic pain. Especially IF you don't wear a suit or have 'alternative' hair styles/dress. (Thought THAT was over in 1970!)
People with chronic pain are being discriminated against because SOME people use opiods NOT for pain.
8 yrs ago I stopped taking narcotic pain meds due to terrible side-effects (& berating from some Drs and staff). 8 yrs later- we are still 'moving in' our home. I cannot take anything but Tylenol (worthless) and Gabapenton (little help) for pain. I cannot do anything and wish I could find pain relief so I could get finished moving in. It would also be nice to 'get a life' as well as get out of the house, groceries, clean house, cook, go out with friends for a half hour.
Wish I had Dr Gingrich as a doctor NOW.
