I've been going to Pima Pain Center for 7 years, and have always found their doctors and staff to be knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and kind. Until I unluckily got Dr. Annibi, instead of Brooke Ruth, whom I usually see.

From the moment he walked in the room I felt uncomfortable and taken aback by his aggressiveness and intense stare. The first thing he uttered was to cross examine me on why I didn't want a nerve block injection, but instead just my normal medication that I'd been taking for 9 years. He almost barked "why don't you want it?" When I tried to explain he just cut me off and said: "So, you're refusing it?!" When I said 'No, I'm just scared of it,' he told me "Fine! I'm lowering your medication dosage." His reason: I took less than I normally do each month. (I was flat on my back with covid for 12 days, and didn't need a much as I normally do when I'm working.)

Bottom line: this is a bad man. He wanted to do an injection, and that was what was on his mind. He didn't listen to me at all, even when answering his questions. All in all the worst experience from a doctor in all of my 60 years.

Pima pain is great, but doctor Emil Annibi is simply awful. Scary and awful.

Dr Annabi's Pima Pain Clinic is amongst the worst of the worst. Where do all these 5 star reviews come from? This place can't be legit. Look elsewhere at other dr. rating sites. I went to Pima Pain Clinic for a few years. Dr Annabi himself seemed friendly enough but I only saw him at the beginning for a few minutes and then he scooted away. Basically u see their ever changing bottom of the barrel staff (I'm not talking about their clerical staff who seemed nice enough. I'm talking about their nurses and doctors, the ones u actually have to visit). Look at the reviews on a legitimate dr. rating site. 5 stars! Ha ha! Bad joke.

He has the greatest staff .
His partner Dr. Shriller is the best. He listens to your every word. Hands of a magician . I trust no one else id say although I am not getting any younger. But they have made life bearable.

After (2) two major back surgeries, (2) Heart Attacks and (2) Strokes, at 65 years old. I was referred to Dr. Annabi by my Primary Care Physician, Dr. Kulatilake. Dr. Annabi and his incredible staff has restored the quality of my life to a point and level I never thought was possible! Dr. Annabi has created and built a practice that is incredible. From his excellent Staff and Facilities throughout the greater Tucson area to Green Valley and now includes Mesa, AZ. Dr. Annabi identified the crucial need to provide patients at all ages, that require Pain Management .to resources that include a diverse range of treatments with an incredible Technical Staff that are extremely high trained and genuinely dedicated to providing excellent Patient Care.

Dr. Annabi became my doctor after my amazing doctor moved out of state. This arrogant "i know all" doctor right away took all my meds away claiming there was nothing short of death that could require the meds i was taking. He dangled my scripts in my face demanding that i either did the injections or i would not get my meds. I of course tried to change doctors but the next doctor only read his notes and he told me that committing suicide may be less paperwork if i felt i was that sick when clearly there was nothing wrong with me. He also stated that my cancer had resolved and i was not a cancer patient (although i had not gone thru treatment yet). He stated in my medical records that he felt i had a condition where i made up my pain level and that my mental health was the issue. He went with the injections and within a month i was unable to walk. Like i was paralized in both legs. I was in the hospital 10 days and in rehab another couple weeks. The next few doctors only visited his notes and therefore refused to even treat me. So, i stopped taking all meds. Mind you i have no thyroid at all i have hypocalcimia and many other issues but this doctor blocked me from all treatments. I was without doctors for almost 2 years. Fast forward. Finally found a group of young doctors and after doing mri scans discovered that i have a herniated buldging disk. An almost 8cm by 5 cm tumor on my lower spine which he was injecting into. Both hamstring muscles torn from my hip bones. 4 sigmoid colon loop obstructions.....narrowing of my spinal canal....mind you my feet were so swollen i could not put shoes on nor feel my feet at all. Now all of a sudden my records are missing and he wants nothing to do with me stating i was not sick when he saw me. Mind you my masses are clearly notated at the time of him demanding injections and my reports clearly indicate malignancy and this doctor would not look at any of my files or test just wanted me off my pain meds. Now having been off for 2 years the doctors are giving me meds...which i wont even take because im scared and are rushing me in for emergency surgery to fix my issues. Imagine trying to walk and cant feel your feet at all...falling every day...and an arrogent doctor claiming its all in my mind. I wanted to end my life....i couldnt handle the pain. But somehow i stopped taking all meds and i could walk but not well and with a walker and the pain is so bad i cant really live...im just alive. I wish this doctor would come at me sideways with all my test results and try to tell me i dont have a growth in my spine and there is no way it could hinder my ability to walk. He told me to go to the er because he was concerned my swelling got worse in my legs and feet after the injection. But he said it was probably an issue with my heart. It was not!!!!! Shame on you doctor for making me feel so worthless. Sham on the 2 doctors after you who refused to treat me stating i didnt have cancer and i was making up my own diagnosis...SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!!!! Ive cried so many tears i cant cry any more. Just thank got for doctors who care!!! Oh and btw doctor!!! Its not normal to have large bloody masses when trying to use the restroom!!! Karma is all i can hope for you. If i find time ill present all your notes...that you tried to get rid of but i got them first...to the board of medicine...lets see if these doctors call the police on a patient after i show people how you have made me suffer!!!!!!!

Dr. Annabi, Jadeh and Naomi are all excellent with regards to Pain Management! After two back surgeries, two strokes and two heart attacks, Pima Pain Management has greatly improved my quality of life. I would recommend their excellent care for all that are trying to manage and improve their daily pain.
