I find Dr. Barnabe very knowledgable, always on top of the research and litterature and always willing to listen. He never gets you in and out but takes all the time to listen to your problem (that means he can be late for the other patients bt it is a well worth experience for me.)

It is some time since I was a client of Dr Barnabe. It was relatively easy to book an appointment with him, but at the appointed day, you never knew when you would get in. His receptionist was totally erratic in putting files to him -- it seemed that last there got in first. The Dr denied past conditions, that had been treated in other locales by other doctors, could have been 'correct', leading to confusion, that eventually ended my relationship with him.

It took me a while to warm up to this Dr. but after I got to know him I liked him better as a doctor. His manner was sometimes brusque but he seemed professional and caring. His staff were usually pretty weak, doing the absolute minimum. Although I always had to wait a while, I also could call in and show up same day after work and he would stay as long as needed to clear out the waiting room with noone turned away. I appreciated that, but didn't get referred to specialists as quickly as I should have in hindsight.

Constantly makes you wait, at times between 60-90 minutes. Prefers simple problems. You have to be in really bad shape for him to get you the approriate medical attention you need. Lack of professionalism, manners and candor from his receptionaist...his wife!

Dr Barnabe refused to refer me to a physiotherapist for back pain and decided instead to suggest physiotherapy type of exercises. Dr barnabe stated that physiotherapists are for the elderly, not for middle-aged patients. I went to see a physiotherapist anyway: The physio specified completely different exercises and explained why the exercises suggested by Dr Barnabe were inappropriate.

Lines up steady flow of patients as if they would drop in there from a conveyor belt.Likes simple problems for routine.More complex health issues will get referal to a specialist withouth even offering an opinion.Does not beleive in natural remedies, will give you loads of medication happily.
