Dr. Fluit saw me in Ottawa for years. He's the best doctor I have ever had or known and my many family members who were also seen by him agree. He's also a wonderful person. I definitely miss him here in Ottawa.

I have never been treated with such disregard by a medical professional. Created unnecessary delays which likely contributed to worsening of my condition by failing repeatedly to send referrals for consultations and imaging because he did not believe the situation was as serious as it was. The necessity of a procedure he disagreed with another specialists opinion of was in fact warranted but his failure to refer caused over 2yrs of delays in receiving proper care.

Dr. Fluit — He may be nice to the elderly but...He needs to listen to a patient’s complaints and not brush them off. He needs to know when to send someone to a specialist rather than diagnosing himself. It could save someone’s life - a family member lost theirs because he did none of the above. You must be an advocate for your loved one so he doesn’t do this again. Again - he’s nice, knowledgeable but needs to know when to consult specialists.

Excellent doctor. Since he has left the practice in Ottawa, the office has gone silent and I have no longer been supported. Its too bad. Best of luck to you Dr. Fluit.

He is one of the best Dr. s I've seen and had, doesn't beat around the bush and tell it like it is and doesn't push medication, even took on my mother as a patient. He is truly an excellent listener.

I consider myself very lucky to have Dr. Fluit as my family doctor. He spends the time to discuss treatment options. He does not prescribe medications unless it is absolutely necessary. He will however write you a prescription if it is necessary. He will make sure that he addresses all your concerns, no matter how many you have, before you leave his office. Dr. Fluit has helped me with an ankle issue and referred me to several different Doctors and specialists in an effort to resolve the problem. I also know that Dr. Fluit will also be there if I need medication for other health issues that I have. Thank you Dr. Fluit. I appreciate your time and get the sense that you genuinely care about your patients.

Dr. Fluit is a truly excellent doctor - the best we have had in our many years in Ottawa. Very knowledgeable, listens carefully, treats each patient as an individual, and goes beyond the call of duty in helping resolve problems.
