Excellent, attentive, understanding, knowledgeable and professional. Helped me immensely throughout a lot of physical and mental health issues after emigrating to Canada. Highly recommended

Dr. Fluit has been fantastic. I've had doctor's in the past who were quick to hand out a prescription, but Dr. Fluit is willing to actually talk through options and get second opinions if needed (I'm speaking personally in regards to ADHD medication, and having had a bad experience in the past). After 10 years of originally trying a medication with a less than ideal outcome, we talked about options. He started me at the lowest dose possible, and got me to refer back to him in two weeks to see how it was going.

I'm blown away that a doctor is willing to work through issues, answer questions, and fully get the background history of their patient. Sadly, most doctors I've gone to in the past seemed a bit burnt out/over worked and just want an easy solution. This is not the case with Dr. Fluit, and I'm glad I was able to get him as my physician when he first started at Meadowlands Family Health.

As well, the nursing and reception staff are polite, quick and competent.

Dr. Fluit in my Mom's doctor. She has Alzheimer's and mobility issues. He is always sure to speak directly to her unlike some doctors who ask me the questions, barely acknowledging my Mom. He takes his time, listens to us, explains clearly, and accepts questions. He has a calm, reassuring manner and referrals are promptly made. I was able to transfer my Mom's care from Appletree which was a pain to get appointments and hard to get hold of.

The clinic has hours that are accommodating, walk-ins, and there is always a doctor available if Dr. Fluit is not available. Staff is very friendly and there are services available in-house that make it less difficult to get shots, etc. Unlike Appletree, you don't arrive to find it packed to the gills and a 2 hour wait (or that they aren't taking patients after you drove across town). Waits are short and they acknowledge on the rare occasion that you have to wait a few minutes for your appointment. Very, very pleased.
