Oncology is the last place Dr. Cripps should be practicing. In all of the appointments I attended with my mother, she was cold, rude and pretty much indicated that there was no hope. It is one thing to feel like you are being honest but it is another thing to be down right rude. She showed no compassion and couldn’t get us out of our appointments fast enough. There was a comment made earlier - nobody In such a devastating situation should have to deal with someone like this - whether they are sick or family....I agree.

We had our first consult with Dr. Cripps today, where she displayed zero compassion, sympathy, or care when delivering the most devastating news to my dad and our family on his prognosis. She seemed rushed and very eager to move on, when we were told she was going to spend an hour with us. My dad had hope, but she left us with no hope. Her comment to my dad at the end was " good luck"! Dr. Cripps clearly needs to have a reality check on what her job specialty is, as it is evident she has become so immune to the point of having no compassion or sensitivity to the families and their loved ones.

I cannot believe the negative remarks. She has always been very compassionate to my situation. Very caring and honest. Treated me very friendly during our teleconferences. I personally really like her.

I met Dr. Cripps today for a consultation about my advanced colon cancer. Dr. Cripps is excellent, she has a very professional approach. She was honest but tactful when telling me my ineligibility for chemotherapy given my current health status. We discussed the possible next steps and she will help start the process for palliative care at home. Thank you Dr. Cripps.

I appreciate honesty and not trying to just make you feel better - She has been my Oncologist for 5 years and counting.

Oncology cannot be an easy speciality for medical practitioners. It has been reassuring to be treated by someone with many years of experience and an impressive educational portfolio. I applaud and thank Dr. Cripps for her honest, no-nonsense approach to medicine.

I have seen Dr. Cripps for a year now . I have always been treated like a file, a number, and there has been little humanity in our conversations or in her care. She is out of touch with the latest research, and seems unaware of what her colleagues are doing. I have a new oncologist now, and am in a drug trial, and have received more compassion and sensitivity in the last week, than I received all year. Despite enduring 24 heavy chemo treatments, my oncologist appointments were the dark spots in my journey over the last year. If you can figure out how to find a new oncologist, it will be worth the effort.
