For my initial consult, it was over Zoom - very informative/helpful. Answered all my questions and concerns. Both surgeries Ive had with him (and another one coming up in the future), he's been excellent. Takes the time to address any concerns you may have. It's hard to find genuine health care professionals like him. Would recommend.

I have required several surgeries over the years and this was a first with Dr. Kavanagh.

Truly the most professional surgeon I have dealt with. Very thorough pre- and post-op ensuring I understood the complexities and outcome. His team has also been quite helpful, and very caring. The surgery went incredibly smooth and feeling better than I have in a long time. Thank you does not cover the immense gratitude and respect I have for Dr Kavanagh. Very glad to have him as my surgeon.

Dr. Kavanagh is genuinely interested in helping people. He is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in his field yet he is able to speak with people so they can understand what is going on and what can be done to solve the issue. He is occasionally running late, but it is because he is taking the time to truly help each individual rather than hurrying through an appointment. He is a lovely person and we are grateful to have him helping us.

I'm 83 and have had multiple treatments by multiple m.ds. dr k.has called twice to ask how lm doing and he never glanced at watch during an appointment. Great caring urologist.

Dr. Kavanagh did not display good listening skills and appeared to have come to his conclusions before I had even walked in the door

Doesn't explain what a procedure entails. The incisions that were done didn't seem to be part of my expectations' For the strong pain experienced there was no effective analgesic.
I would appreciate a more candid approach where I know more about the upcoming surgery. I never saw him following the surgery.

Great Doctor, and good bedside manor. He does wonders for the Gender Program, and he does truly care about his patients and the success for his treatments. Most of his staff are good, but you get the bad apple in every bunch. I am happy to have him as my surgeon. Jeff

Good enough doctor but doesn't seem to really care about patients or go the extra mile for them. I was having issues after a surgery. He continually said everything was normal, when I finally went and got a second opinion, my issue was diagnosed and treated appropriately. I would suggest going to a different urologist unless you truly have no other option.
