I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Prisman and his his amazing multitasking friendly assistant Kelly. They were very through with my procedure and care afterwards. I would highly recommend Dr. Prisman.

Had a full thyroidectomy May 2021. Dr. Prisman was great before and during the procedure, but no contact after his only post surgery talk. I'm glad he saw me and dealt with my thyroid cancer, but don't always believe the doctor when he says that " the thyroid surgery won't affect your quality of life." I've been plagued with permanent severe nerve tingling since September 2021 after the complete numbness to the left side of my face went away.

Dr. Prisman is compassionate surgeon but also an innovative biomedical engineer. I had an advanced cancer of my jaw. He created a 3dimensional model of my jaw with the cancer removed and calculated the best way to rebuild it by comparing different transplant options - either leg or shoulder. The shoulder was chosen and he created guides and plates that were brought in to the OR to perform a precise and optimal surgery. I look normal and have great jaw function. Will be starting radiation in 2 weeks. The entire surgical experience was so smooth - and I got to keep my own jaw model too - which was super neat. I highly highly recommend Dr. Prisman and his team.

Long overdue but Dr Prisman was very knowledgeable, caring and clear. I had lost my voice and was completely raspy when I saw him. Due to a previous surgery, the doctor cut my vocal cord to remove a benign tumor completely, which wasn't expected. I was referred to a different ENT before Dr. Prisman and he told me my vocal cord was permanently damaged. I was very lucky to have Dr. Prisman to take me as his patient! He provided me with different options that i can go, and a year or so after the surgery. My voice was 80% back and to this day, it is still great and voice has gotten stronger!

I was referred to Dr Prisman from ENT Doctor Yeh after being diagnosed with tonsil cancer which had spread to lymph nodes in my neck. Dr Prisman was very clear how tough my surgery would be but was incredibly reassuring. He was compassionate that I am a mother of 2 small kids, and scheduled surgery quickly. As soon as I was out of theatre he personally called my husband to reassure him that surgery had gone well. I am now cancer free and grateful to Dr Prisman and the advice he gave me.

Dr.Prisman and staff are wonderful. I saw him over a year ago for cancer in my neck, within weeks of seeing him I had surgery to remove it. The team and all of is staff were and are great people. On a scale of 1-10 I have to say 12. Thanks again

Amazing experience. Considering I was diagnosed with cancer of my cheek bone and needing a large surgery and a transplant from my shoulder - I couldn’t believe how reassuring and calm dr prisman was from the first consultation all the way to his visits with me in the recovery room and throughout my hospital stay. He really cares and has a great bedside demeanour. Kelly. His assistant, is stellar and goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend Dr prisman. Amazing surgeon and demeanour.

AS A 62 YR, OLD MALE, DIAGNOSED ALMOST 4 YRS AGO, TODAY I WEIGHED MYSELF ,AFTER MY TALK WITH DR PRISMAN, AND HIS ASSC. UP TO 114 LBS, A WALKING SKELETON!!!!! AFTER STATING THAT I COULD STILL NOT SWALLOW HARD FOODS AND WAS AFRAID OF THE WEIGHT LOSS, HIS ANSWER WAS SORRY I CAN'T HELP YOU, BUT MY JOB IS DONE!!!? WHERE DO THESE GUYS GET THIER TRAINING?? AND WHY CAN'T HE POINT ME TOWARDS AN EXPERT IN NUTRITION?? A PERSON WOULD THINK THIS DR. WOULD KNOW WHICH WAY TO TURN!!!! I was a 57 year old female when Dr. Prisman surgical skills and his team removed a rare base of tongue cancer ... happy to report I am 5 years clear of cancer and continuing to enjoy a great quality of life. i had no hesitation whatsoever due to Dr. Prisman confidence, knowledge and positive attitude. I was appreciative of the post surgical visit by Dr. Prisman and the thorough daily monitoring during my hospital stay by his attentive team that were pleased to answer any of my questions. Receptionist Kelly was always cheerful and efficient when booking my scheduled surgery and follow up appointments as I traveled from Vancouver Island. I feel so fortunate to have been treated Dr. Prisman and his professional team and will remain eternally grateful.

I recently had Thyroid surgery thru Dr Prsman at St Pauls and he was the best. He really cares and if you need a ENT this is the man. His staff is fantastic as well . They are so busy its amazing how they can give so much professional care and personal interaction. They are a well oiled machine. I have a followup after my surgery and I reccommend this team .
