Excellent and approachable - helped our family deal with COVID-19 in our loved one in the icu

Amazing person and doctor who will go out of his way to make sure you medical treatments are optimized and he will do everything in his power to help you. He clearly is your advocate if you are his patient. The media even recognizes this and asks him his opinion on what is going on with COVID-19 even. Excellent doctor. He cares and is knowledgeable. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he took the time to make sure our family was fully updated when we were not able to visit. He have us some peace of mind.

My father is currently in the ICU during the Covid-19 pandemic and there are no visitors allowed. Dr. Spiegelman called me and updated me on progress daily and was reassuring as he clearly knows what he is taking about and gained my trust. He was also very realistic with me and empathetic, this was so very much appreciated during this difficult time for all. Thanks to doctors and health care providers like him, we will get over this pandemic better than we were before.

He is excellent Knowledge, Exceptionally kind and amazing to his staff and colleagues. He always is happy and greets everyone with a big smile. When he is the doctor on, it makes it a better day for all. He is cautiously positive and this vibe makes it better for his patients, team and outcomes.

I’m a nurse who works with Jamie in the ICU. He is fantastic. He cares and he has excellent knowledge. All our team love when he is on. What made me write this review now however is the way he cares about everyone’s well being during this COVID19 pandemic, not only the patients but all the staf. He said frankly to us as a group in passing “I don’t want to see any of my colleagues die from this!”. He is a kind soul.

Dr. Spiegelman cared for my mother in the ICU last month. He was caring and approachable and clearly knowledgeable. He always kept me informed including calling me up for updates when requested.

I was in the hospital with abdominal pain. This so called 'doctor' discharged me without doing any assessments, and the next day I had to come back to the hospital for the same problem. He was asked to see me by the emergency physician. He wouldn't even come and examine me! Luckily the next doctor on him after me saw me and admitted me and it turned I had a big ulcer in my stomach that started to bleed. I almost died because of him.
