What do you call a doctor that puts a needle around your heart to drain the fluid that is stopping your heart?

My hero - otherwise known as Dr. Spiegelman.

I am forever grateful to Dr. Spiegelman for saving my life at Humber Hospital. I am thankful to him everyday so I have the chance to spend time now with my family. My family also is so thankful (I think). There is no enough good words to write here about him. I owe my life to him and I will always be thankful God put him on the earth.

Our mother was a patient in the ICU and we were so glad to have Dr Spiegelman as her doctor. Not only he was excellent for our mother and our family, all his staff including the nurses and even the porters loved him and enjoyed working with him. Highly recommended- if you do end up on the ICU at Humber River Hospital, you can hope he will be your doctor.

No words can explain how grateful our family is to Dr. Spiegelman. He help our family deal with our loved one in the ICU at Humber River Hospital. He was professional, personal, funny, but most of all human.

I don’t usually go online and write reviews but Dr Spiegelman is an exception - excellent doctor, compassionate and knowledgeable- he needs to be recognized for his hard work during the pandemic - he clearly showed my family what a really doctor should be when he took care of my father in the ICU. There are very good people in this world and he is one of them.

M y son was stricken with what appeared to be Severe Pneumonia, then it was referred to as A.R.D.S., and what would now be considered Covaid-19. He was rushed by paramedics to Humber River Hospital Thurs. evening, Jan. 16, 2020. With the amazing help of God and the wonderful, amazing and brilliant Dr. Spiegelman - he was transferred up to I.C.U. By Sunday, Dr. Spiegelman placed him on the life saving Ventillator and with the help of many many drugs, proning and other successful attempts, my son survived after 4 wks. in hospital. With another emergency run to Toronto General Hospital and into their ICU., my son had 0pen Heart Surgery with two valves replaced and a Permanent Pacemaker installed. Without Dr. Spiegelman's excellent care, my son would not have survived. There are not enough words to say 'THANK YOU"!! XO

Wonderful doctor Saved my husbands life last week at Humber River Hospital Husband was taken by ambulance for Covid related organ failure My husband was not expected to survive but thanks to the quick and knowledgeable care I have brought him home tonight I owe this doctor gratitude and thanks for returning my husband to me Absolutely amazing doctor 😷
