Dr Scott is a gifted psychologist. At our first meeting, she made me feel comfortable and understood. She immediately was able to point out key elements to my struggles which helped me tremendously to understand the issues. That being said with her boundless experience, knowledge and tips, she really helped me get out of something that I thought no one could help me with. I still have to continue working on myself but now I have a new perspective and understanding. I look forward to talk with Dr. Scott and I would recommend her as a psychologist.

Within a couple of sessions, Dr. Scott basically summarized my life back to me and all my interactions and how I deal with conflict. Since then, she has helped me move through my separation, have a healthier, deeper relationship with my daughter and continues to help me deal with the emotional blocks that led me to where I am today. I feel I have already changed but still have a long way to go but will get there with Dr. Scott’s help. Dr. Scott will not shy away from challenging. She is honest and calls things based on her many years of experience. If you are willing to be honest with yourself and put the time and effort to get to a better place, Dr. Scott can help you.

The other reviews of Dr. Scott do not do her justice, and I highly disagree with them. She is an absolute sweetheart who is willing to provide you with the necessary tools and support to move past emotional stress and turmoil. I would recommend her to anyone I know looking for a great psychologist. Dr. Scott helped me when I felt as if nobody else could. The previous reviews obviously come from individuals with issues much deeper than the guidance of a qualified psychologist.

After finally working up the courage to seek couples counselling Dr. Scott was very judgemental and actually said that we weren’t meant to be together as a couple. We came to her for help and she drove us further apart, thanks! She frequently mentioned her ex-husband and referenced his narcissistic traits and projected that into our relationship. Seek help elsewhere.

I also disagree with the negative reviews. I saw several psychologists before Dr. Scott that I did not find helpful because they seemed cold and detached with not much life experience to help them have empathy for their clients. I think there are many types of people and many kinds of treatment styles and you need to find the style that's helpful to you. She very much helped me through relationship issues and step-parenting problems.

If you are looking to see a psychologist, the best way for you to find a competent and reputable one is to ask your family doctor to refer you to one.

This doctor is seemingly going through some personal issues and it really shows in her practice. I had to involve the College of Psychologists of Ontario to have my issue resolved, after which i received angry text messages and emails from her at 2am!! I cannot stress enough that you should look elsewhere for treatment. She does not seem to understand (or worse, care) that her patients are in vulnerable positions and looking for treatment and support. DO NOT GO TO HER FOR TREATMENT!!!

This person is located in Kanata now. Absolutely judgemental. Compares patients situation with her personal life. She deserves to get her license siezed. Do NOT, I repeat do NOT visit her. She did not even have her own certificate displayed at her office. It was another person's certificate. When a patient goes to see her in a vulnerable state, her job is to make the patient feel better not to detriment their mental state. She compares her divorce with others. To each to their own but it's not a surprise for a person like her getting a divorce. Please avoid this judgemental person in every aspect. Ontario School of Psychology should absolutely seieze her certificate/degree. She's not humane at all and not a Canadian in any aspect. She is from the states. If a psychologist cannot help her patient being neutral she does not deserve this profession. She's clever about entrapping patients on how to benefit herself off of them by asking for their legal documents to know about their incomes etc. Once she knows all the figures she uses that to charge them and gives them hope that she will fix the problem so they come back. STAY AWAY from this charlatan. She is a disgrace to psychologist society.
