Went to ER a few years ago and was misdiagnosed by him and took unnecessary medication. Found another doctor in the USA to get scans and found the problem in my neck. I kept having pain in my chest and he prescribed strong Anti depressants for sleep and Anxiety pills because he did understand, which nearly killed me. I suggest you always get a second persons opinion. I have learned just because they are Doctors doesn't make them smart. Get scans like CT and MRI's as they will most likely find the problem as this idiot didn't even try.

Went to the emergency room and was seen by Dr. Trecarten. He walked into the room with a gentle voice yet, he had a tone that comes off as condescending, as though he has already made his final diagnosis prior to entering the room.

Dr. Trecarten did a small surgery on my toenail on July the 3rd. He is an excellent doctor. Very gentle, explained all he has done. Very good doctor.

I went to emergency in QCH on October 30th. Dr Trecarten was extremely helpful, reassuring and knowledgeable. He is a doctor you can trust. He treats the patients with respect and patience.

My wife went into emergency following many sleepless nights and almost year of trying to get help for what appeared to be an endless head cold and hacking cough. Dr. Trecarten ordered vital checks and explained the results patiently and and clearly. If I ever had need of emergency treatment he would be the one I would want treating me.

Excellent doctor at QCH emergency. Diagnosed pulmonary embolism by going extra distance and moving me quickly thru x-ray, blood work, and CT scan. Actually listens to patients. Calm, reassuring, unhurried under stress and intense workload.

Went to Queensway Carleton Hospital April 11/15-feeling very dizzy-nauseous-panic attack-
Admitted quickly and looked after and diagnosed by this EXCELLENT EMERGENCY Doctor.
Great bedside manners-his voice very calming-clear and reassuring to me and my medical problem. Had blood tests and EKG done and his diagnosis reassured me that it was Vertigo and not heart - brain tumor or worse....I am thankful of seeing him today and all staff who work in the Emergency......
