Dr. Tuli doesn't have time to chit chat, he's trying to help as many patients as possible.... some people see it at rude but he explained to me why he setup his office as is, and why he's in an out, so that he can see as many patients as possible. Without him i would have been blind, he saved my eyes and I will be forever grateful that he took me in. worth the wait...he cares about his patients, don't think otherwise, in addition to the office, he does surgeries at the General, and Riverside....i trust him with my life.

I was not impressed with Dr Tuli - He looked at me when he walked in and did not look at me again- He was staring and the computer the whole time. Acting like I was not there. Here patient skills are Terrible ! I was not explained anything - I was booked for the surgery and I had to wait over an hour to get in. at the Riverside. I had a tear in my macular and when I had the surgery - it was not Dr. Tuli that did the surgery - it was a newer doctor - training for surgeries. Dr. Tulu was there - also I was sedated a lot I heard them talking through the surgery. The Riverside gave me no information about who to do - just game me prescriptions and let me go. They apparently booked me for a follow the next day but no one told me and they only emailed me. Who goes on the internet the day after surgery when you have on one eye. I called in the afternoon to his office to find out when my appt was and they told me I had an appt 1 hour before. So they had to fit me in the next morning. I had to wait over an hour to see the doctor at the General hospital. But Dr. Tuli was no there and there was this doctor trying to see 10 patients and was not getting through patients fast. He kept walking from room to room - after about 1 hr and new patients arriving all the time he must have called in another Dr. for help - I saw him within ten min. He was very friendly helpful and explained things. He gave me another patch that I should have a day after the surgery. I was no told about the different patch - when to stop using it - because this doctor told me I should not be wearing the patch from my surgery as it does not let your eye breath - which it needs!! I was impressed with this doctor. It has been about a month since my surgery and my eye has NOT returned to normal. Since my appt is in 2 weeks I was going to wait for that appt. But I can`t read with the eye that had the surgery and it not improving - it is getting worse. I have to call their office - to go back in sooner.. I also found their staff were robotic and not really friendly. The doctor and their staff need to learn to make patients feel that they see them, and to treat them in a friendly manner. Patients are their bread and butter - They have to learn to butter the bread and be friendly to patients who would always be nervous and (because you have one set of eyes -only) and they are your lifeline to your life. I would like to see another doctor at the eye clinic for his office. I have a friend and she had a cataract removed and had a full booklet explaining everything and what to expect and what to do. Eye damage is much more serious then cataracts - yet this doctor did not explain and make me feel comfortable and give me instructions for anything. He does not have to improve his bedside manner - he has to get a bedside manner - hence the rating
